This place was a family favorite when it was Anna shea...I would always stop here and grab Bonbons for special occasions to wow family & friends. Now that is has become cocolotte, the employees seem monotone and unwelcoming when I've stopped in and the atmosphere just isn't the same. I just went to check out ordering some items and I see that just 6 peices is now $27??? These candies are NOT worth paying extreme prices. Just seems like they took anna sheas ideas and became greedy with it by gouging prices on chocolate that hasn't improved or become magically any more special yet are taking advantage of inflation to rip their loyal customers off. Sadly to say, my family won't be supporting this business anymore.

The best thing in their menu is their espresso martinis. The food is strictly dessert based. Their a little on the pricey side. I miss that it was Anne Sheas. The ambiance is cozy! Service has been better but new owners I get it!

So delicious! Handcrafted truffles with incredible flavors, yummy chocolate covered snacks (like Fritos and potatoes chips), sinful hot chocolate and chai lattes, out of this world cupcakes! Can't wait to try their gelato next time. Great for gift giving with lovely packaging too. Highly recommend this place!

Affogato is to diiiiiiie for! Vanilla gelato and 2 shots of espresso - yes honey!Of course we spent $100 between the frozen hot chocolates for my teenage daughters, Nutella sandwiches, crazy good cupcakes and a few gourmet chocolates… well worth the $$$ and experience. And we can talk about how aesthetically eye pleasing the interior is? Such a cute little date place with kiddos, your significant other or a girls day. I mean let’s be honest, who doesn’t fit the bill for a chocolate date??

My daughter and I have been going to this shop for years. When it was Ana Shea the flavors were wonderful and the chocolates done to perfection. They were flavorful (sometimes surprisingly so), consistent with the proper ratio of filling-to-chocolate shell. Unfortunately, since becoming Cocolotte the prices have increased (several times) while the quality had decreased. The flavor selection is smaller. More importantly, the flavored fillings on what was some of our favorites taste like they're using lower-quality artificial flavorings. They don't taste like they used to. In addition, the chocolate shells have gotten thicker and thicker.

I was in Cocolotte/Anna Shea Chocolates just this morning (4/23) and as always, I was met with a warm and welcoming staff. I have never been disappointed with their products and it’s an indulgence I love sharing with friends, family, and myself. Thank you for wonderful experiences!

If you're comparing Cocolotte to itself, its ok and maybe even gone downhill a little bit over the past couple of years. If you're comparing it to Anna Shea, you'll be completely disappointed. I've been with Anna Shea since 2012 and when it was sold I kept the hope that the quality would stay stay the same; it hasn't. I recently went to Cocolotte because I have yet to find a replacement for Anna Shea. For a while the craftsmanship stayed the same, but when I purchased some of the standards this time around there were glaring shifts of quality. 1. The beloved salted caramels are gone. They sell caramel, but it's not salted, they're not using honey, they definitely are no longer using vanilla bean having opted for a vanilla extract and I'm not even sure if they're actually using butter. You'll cry when you eat it. The signature, soft, buttery, salted caramel is gone! 2. The Fleur de Sel is also no longer what it used to be. The trademark color has been changed with a darker, sadder looking green. I couldn't even bring myself to taste it. 3. My daughter's favorite birthday cake has been ruined with the new Charlotte's birthday cake. There are now sprinkles and the beauty of the original birthday cake is gone along with its elegant shimmer. Instead you get a dull, banal and pedestrian interpretation. You will also find that one by one each chocolate is losing its luster and beauty, along with its taste. 4. The paper quality and printing of the descriptions is even noticeably downgraded in quality. I won't go into detail of every change, but if you're planning on investing money into Cocolotte expecting the delightful delicacies synonymous with Anna Shea, reset your expectations because you will be disappointed. This is no longer an artisinal chocolatier. The commercialization and cost saving decisions that have been made from staffing to the sacrafice of quality ingredients have taken its toll and downgraded its status as a house of chocolate to an upscale American factory. I'm sure once a year or every other, I will go back with hopes that it will change for the better; it's been 3 years now and it keeps getting worse. Until I find a comparable substitute for Anna Shea, I will make do with Vosges Chocolat and other French and Swiss chocolatiers overseas. The caché, novelty and experience of Anna Shea has been replaced with less discerning taste wrapped up in a nice package.

My daughter and I have been coming here for years. What was once Anna Shea is now Cocolatte. Along with the name change there seems to be some changes, along with several price increases, that really make one wonder if the prices are worth it. The selections have been narrowed, the shells are thicker than they should be and the fillings not as good as they once were. Given the above, they prices have gone up several times since the new owners came in making me rethink bringing big boxes to friends and family like we used to. What a shame.

DO NOT GO TO THIS SHOP!! Tried to go to this shop today, but the owner kicked us out. First claimed that we had to have reservations in order to use their lounge and then it became a $25 per person charge. We tried to pay and then the owner claimed that his insurance was too high, he's currently in a lawsuit because a child fell and broke one of his glass tables and so now we couldn't stay because we had ONE kid in our group. Yelled at us that he has the right to refuse service to anyone and then told us get out. While I agree 100% that he has the right to refuse service to any client, he could have calmly and respectfully informed us that the shop isn't set up for patrons with kids. Instead, he was rude, disrespectful, cruel and should be ASHAMED that he caused a 10yo girl to cry by yelling that it was because of her we had to leave. Absolutely horrible ownership and customer service. I will forever tell any/every person to never step foot into this shop.

Would have loved to try it. Got outside only to find out that we were being kicked out for having a 10 year old with us. Made a big reservation. Nothing indicates that we couldn’t have a kid with us. It is a candy shop. But because it was a coffee shop, the owner said he could kick our group out. The owner is a law suit waiting to happen. The 10 year old walked in and he kicked us out. If the child was misbehaving, sure…. But she did NOTHING wrong. Dear Arboretum, I would reconsider having a lease with this store.

Really good chocolate! Very interesting flavor combinations. Chocolates aren't too sweet, the flavors are nuanced and the chocolates taste very fresh! The owner was very nice and the staff is so kind. Will definitely be back for more.
