The staff at Kovach eye institute took very good care of me and answered all of my questions. Will highly recommend for any and all eye issues and calmed my nerves for a scary sounding procedure.

I had an amazing experience at Kovach Eye institute with both eye cataracts removed with Dr. Mateen. I can see clearly for the first time in years. The staff at both the Elmhurst and South Barrington locations, as well as the surgery center in Itasca were so very helpful and accommodating. I would highly recommend Kovach Eye institute as well as Dr. Mateen for any of your eye issues.

Replaced my cataract lens with a corrected vision lens. Easy, painless, procedure. Couldn't believe it! I love my new "bionic" eye! Going to get my other eye done to match! Great office staff as well!

Dr. Mateen Aliniazee has performed cataract surgery, as well as Laser Surgery on both of my eyes, in the past 4 years. I am more than pleased with the results from both procedures. Dr. Aliniazee is professional, very knowledgeable, who listens well to your concerns, and is very pleasant to work with. Dr. Aliniazee and the Kovach Eye Institute have my complete faith and trust. I highly recommend them to anyone.

Dr. Gradianu provided excellent service for my cataract surgery from the initial visit to discuss lens options, through surgery and next day post surgical followup and future expectations. The patient education consultants answered all questions and thoroughly explained the required paperwork. I highly recommend Dr. Gradianu and staff with the caveat to bring your patience as the office wait times run about 1.5 hours.

Went in for a follow-up on my red eye not going away which was diagnosed as Dry Eye. With an appointment, waited for over an hour until I asked and was told I was next. After waiting another10 mins, I was seen for 5 mins by a nurse who asked me 3-4 questions and then told me to wait in the waiting room for the doctor again.After waiting for over another hour, I simply had enough as no-one even acknowledged that I had been waiting or what the delay was.2 hours and no visit by a doctor. Unacceptable lack of professionalism.

Dr Mateen is very professional, attentive, and caring. His technician are competent and friendly to the patient and their needs. There is only one suggestion the exam chair in room 4 is in dire need of replacement. In a professional office setting one expects an examining chair that is not torn to shreds. Zero stars for the chair.

Two years ago I had cataract surgery at kovach and since then everything has gone wrong. What they don't tell you is that the surgery can cause your retina to detach and mine did. It doesn't always happen right away but it can and and at some point probably will. I had to go back for secondary cataract removal and that's way too much laser in an eye. You would think they'd know better. You would also think they'd know better in a person with severe nearsightedness. What do I know, they're the experts.So my retina detached and the specialist at kovach repaired it. Two weeks later it detached again. Probably because the only instructions he gave were to sleep on my side. Not stay face down for 2 weeks, etc. I decided to go elsewhere for the 2nd surgery but the damage was already done. Now I have a buckle around my eye, the kovach implants are distorted and I cannot see. I also had to have a tear in my other eye repaired. I am worse off than when I started two years ago. At least I was able to see before all of this.Keep the cataract if you can and save whatever vision that you have.

Just a fantastic job by Dr Saad and team. Took about 5 years for this project to complete. Finally my eyesight is completely normal. Big thanks to the fabulous team.

The wait is to much time , in the waiting room, when I was call in the room oh men it was one hour and one/haft before Dr Crazy see me and didn’t get any explanation, I will look in NCH
