We've consistently had the best possible experience at this location. The staff are warm, listen well, take time with you and ask good questions. Linda is amazing and is so good with my 9 year old who has sensory challenges. She has also done a great job with eyeglass fitting and repair.

Definitely would never come back nor recommend. We just moved from Chicago and never had a problem with our pearle vision in Chicago, where by myself and my son were patients. My son who is 7 was having a hyper moment. The assisted was having a hard time assessing him during the very beginning. After about 3 minutes she excused herself and then the Dr came in. Instead of having any patience or suggesting maybe to reschedule a time or recommend an actual name of a eye Dr, she flatly said it's best to go see a specialist. Disappointing.

Pearle vision helped me see again… the doctor and staff are exceptionally knowledgeable, helpful and made me feel comfortable. Everything was done in a timely manner and I got the best glasses that fit me perfectly! I would definitely recommend to anyone who is looking for an exceptional vision exam and glasses!

I wouldn’t recommend. I had 2 appts and still having vision issues with my contacts not seeing correctly. When I called for a recheck they said “no you’ve already had one” Nothing like you will have to pay, just NO! Poor customer service at this location

Had an appointment which they took me a few minutes before scheduled time. Awesome to that. Made me feel comfortable throughout the whole experience and very professional and knowledgeable staff.

I would like to recommend South Barrington Pearle Vision to anyone looking for an optometrist with a full service frame and lens shop. I have a difficult prescription and a tuff time finding suitable frames for glasses.Dr Patel is awesome and very patient as she goes about preparing the correct refraction for you. Linda, who assists you with frames and lens is equally as patient and helpful with your selections. I consider myself “high maintenance “ when trying to renew my prescription and select the proper frame and lens. They truly were awesome!! Thank you ladies for your work!

During Spring Break, I was taking my nieces to an indoor water park and my right contact fell out on the way there. I thought I had packed spare contacts but it turns out I only had my glasses. I ran into this store (wearing a bathing suite and cover up when it felt like winter still) and explained my situation. Linda looked at my Rx printout, went to the back room, then came out with spare contacts for me. I was a half hour away from home when this happened so I didn't purchase my original contacts and glasses from this establishment. The fact she helped me was amazing and the next time I'm due for an exam and products I will be coming here to give them the business. Highly impressed by the customer service and beautiful show room. Most of all, I'm grateful for Linda who helped me while in a jam.

Drs and staff do not wear masks or gloves. Which is very disappointing because they are literally in your face and touch your eyes!!! I

Manager Linda is just outstanding. Have purchased 5 pairs of glasses from her and have received amazing service every time. Upon picking up a pair recently, I returned after a few hours and told her I hated them. Not only was she able to make them fit comfortably and securely (after offering a return or exchange), she ordered a replacement pair which she surprised me with when I returned later because she was bothered that I didn't automatically love them and thought a new pair would be better. Who does that nowadays??? Linda just further cemented that I am a customer for life because of her above and beyond service!!!

RATING -10PLEASE AVOID THIS PLACE IF YOU OTHER OPTIONSMy wife and i had our exam taken almost 2 months ago and we are yet to get our glasses. First call they said our glasses came but lenses are scratched and frame was broken. Not sure how that is possible. First time in my life i heard about such situation . Have been wearing glassed for more than 40 years and never had this problem. Regardless accepted that and and waited for another 3 weeks and this time my wife’s pair was completely wrong. Even the brand of the frame did not match. They said they will talk to their manager Linda and look into this issue and get back to us. Got call from Linda and was told that the frame we originally had ordered had a wrong label due to which wrong frame was ordered. Not sure how this is possible as the price difference between 2 frames was over $100.00. Guess they like to give stuff for free. Anyway since i did not have any other choice but to accept the situation again so i said ok. This time Linda did say that they have put in express services and glasses should be ready in a week. It has been over week and half and still no glasses. Call the store today to speak to Linda we are told she is on vacation for over week and the person who is helping just came back from Vacation and does not know what the situation is with my glasses. Not sure where to go. I wish there was a system where this stores only get paid by insurance companies only after customers get their glasses. This way in cases like me i can cancel order go to their competitor and still get my glasses done instead of having to pay full price.Update as of June 21st.Got a voicemail from pearl vision stating that they have called the lab and will take additional 5 days for my wife to get the glasses. Hearing that i called the atore back to confirm if that is guaranteed or not since same was told by linda about week and half ago. As usual again i am being told that they should arrive instead of will arrive. When i asked the store manager to put herself into my situation, She did not any answer other than sorry. Again at this point no other option but to wait. Am sure things would be diffident if there was a payment was pending.Update as of June 24Still no glasses called the store and was told they are expected yo come in next week. When asked if it was confirmed or not just like every other time was told system shows it will be early next week and cannot confirm. Hoping to get my glasses soon.I hope pearl vision does something about customers instead of letting customers know know about the problem that they created themselves and ask customers to deal with it instead of providing solution.
