I think I was there all of 10 minutes and they swapped out my tire for a new one, buffed the rim, balanced it, etc. I may come back for the other three before winter hits depending on the tread depth in November.

I was up in South Beloit, almost 200 miles from home, for my cousin’s wedding and I had a brake line bust on my car. I called a few different tow companies and got quotes of $1200-$1400 to tow it back home. Thankfully, Pete from Hillside called me back and offered to have his mechanic come in on a Sunday and fix my car instead of having it towed. He told me to go enjoy myself at my cousins reception, don’t worry about my car, and call him in the morning to confirm. I called him in the morning, met him and his mechanic (I think is name was Dave, plus Dave’s lovely wife), got my car fixed in about an hour and at a very reasonable price. I am so truly grateful that he called me back and they went above and beyond to help me. I will never forget their kindness and generosity.

They came and picked up my girlfriends car when it was disabled and were closed all weekend and charged throughout the weekend and would not let here get personal belongings or anything until we had the money which is illegal. They are taking advantage of low income families and the police that called the tow knew how shady they are.. we could of got the car out on Saturday but they were closed and I lost my va benefits and there not willing to work around a veteran. This is the worst towing service in the area.

Great service and very friendly! My son had a car accident and they were right there to tow his car. Very respectful of the car even though it was not drivable. Went to retrieve the contents of his car and one of the gentleman even told us if we didn't show up today, he was going to store our personal belongings inside their building. Now that's customer service!! Thank you!!

Would recommend hillside 110/100 times. Being from out of the area we occurred a flat tire on the highway Friday night. Called hillside to come help change the tire. They were out within 20 minutes on a Friday night at 630 PM. After I was told no by several other shops they could not patch my tire. We were an hour in to a four hour drive. With nothing else left I asked (I believe his name was dan) if he knew anyone that could help us. After inspecting the tire it was a good fit for a plug. He offered for us to follow him and he would plug it for us and get us on our way! It is so very nice to see there are still good people in this world. When everyone else told us no, Hillside was there to make sure my family got to our destination safely. Couldn’t thank them enough!

I've gone to these guys numerous times with all my cars. If you want honest work at a decent price, I highly recommend them. They've always done a great job!
