“We have lived on our farmette property now for over 6 years, we had to switch the original provider out first year and were happy with them, up until this winter. Ordered propane and waited, and waited, until our tank was almost empty. Called, no estimate on delivery, sorry, we are weeks behind schedule. Brand new baby in the house, cannot run out of propane for heat. Finally had to break down and look for another provider, in the middle of winter, yeah, not the best time huh? Well, not for Blackhawk/Lake gas. I called Monday morning at 8:04 am and spoke with Cody, asked him about setting up a new account and how long it might take for a site inspection/tank delivery and he said about 2 weeks. Understandable since it is the middle of winter. I quickly explained our situation, running on fumes, new baby in the house, I took off work today teaching to try to figure this out before we officially have no heat, he tells me to hold on a minute. Comes back on the phone maybe a minute later after speaking with, and believe he said Josh (I am SO sorry if I got that wrong) and he said they can move a few things around and get us set up tomorrow afternoon. Wow! Stupid me I told him that I had a few more calls to make but I would get right back to him, yeah, not a chance, called Cody right back and said let's get setup. He told me it would be in the afternoon the next day so I hoped and begged our old tank to hold off one more night. Burning thru over $100 in diesel to heat the tank to try and squeeze every last bit of propane out of it. I get a call at 8:10 am the next morning, the driver is already there getting the tank setup, insane! By mid morning, we had our full heat back in the house and a brand new company to thank for that. THANK YOU VERY MUCH! You guys saved our family from a company that obviously does not care about their customers. Thank you Mark, our technician for showing up first thing in the morning and doing an amazing job getting us a new tank setup and doing a thorough inspection of our system for function and leaks. Thank you Cody for getting us setup and helping our family to not freeze and be able to cook meals again. Thank you Josh (I really hope I'm right on that name) for moving things around to get our family set up so quickly in the middle of winter. For anyone contemplating signing up for service with this company, stop, sign up or deal with another company that will leave you cold and fighting to stay warm (and yes, I ordered my fill with plenty of time on our fuel gauge, they were just so insanely far behind they couldn't take care of their customers)”
