Anderson Humane is a one‑of‑a‑kind animal welfare organization that brings people and animals together, for good. Employees work hard to rescue animals and rehome them, creating mutually beneficial relationships between people and animals. Current programming includes Adoption & Fostering, Military Veterans’ Program, Riding Therapy and Healing Paws Pet Therapy, which build positive, impactful connections. Staff are super friendly, knowledgeable, compassionate, caring and clean. The place is very clean, well kept and professional, with no long waits for vaccine and super easy in‑and‑out appointments. The shelter offers the largest selection of kitties and a wide array of information on wildlife work. Adoption process is quick and easy, and resources for donations, adoption or volunteering are great. Anderson Humane is a very good choice, a bit more expensive but worth every penny.
Amazing although they closed the adoption part at like 5 on one of the days So we had to come in the next day but we got the dog that was already some what house trained which was already a life savior but yeah over all 4 stars

Adopted my first kitty through them. Have no issues or complaints. You get a complimentary vet visit upon adoption. He was well taken care of before I brought him home. Thank you❤️

I adopted 2 kittens from here over 20+ yrs ago and it was the best experience. The kittens were in a foster home and I was allowed to visit them several times until they were ready to come home. The process was so smooth, the staff exceptional. Would absolutely adopt from here again.
