The entire process was great from the estimate to the loading and the unloading. The team of guys who helped me worked so hard but they were still courteous to me and respectful of my belongings. I've seen them around town since then and I am always happy to say Hello. Would use them in the future, but I don't want to have to move again for a long time. Let Berna relieve some of the hassle. And since they charge by the hour, the better prepared you are on the day of the move, the less it costs.

We have used Berna several times from Home to New Home. Kids to college and back. We even hired them to move furniture into garage and back when we had our floors re-finished. Last week they moved my daughter from our home to her new townhouse. We gave up some of our furniture :O) They got the job done and a reasonable amount of time at a very fair price. I would highly recommend them.

Our first time using a moving company, and Berna made it easy. Their price was very reasonable. No damage. They showed up on time and did the job in about 2 hours under what they estimated. So that was refreshing: a final bill that was less than the estimate.I did move some items the day before, which likely resulted in the lower move time. But, still, it was a pleasant surprise. They were quick to return my phone calls and even followed up the next day to make sure everything went well.I would definitely recommend Berna if you're moving. If my family moves again, Berna will be first on my list to call.

If I could give this team 10 stars I would! Alvin, Tom, (and I apologize I don't know the third man's name) were extraordinary. It was not any easy move. Heavy, big pieces, and small spaces. They were courteous, fast, impeccably clean, and kept their sense of humor in a stressful situation. Professional team that absolutely knew what they were doing. Berna is a hidden gem in Elgin! Great company! I would use them again, and recommend them to anyone.

Kudos to Tom and his team for outstanding service. The team was super polite and professional. They did a great job with some of the final packing, loading the truck for two stops, and making sure everything arrived safe and sound. And Tom W did an amazing job packing the storage area... I still can't believe he got it all in there! We've used Berna Moving and Storage 3 times in the past 2 years--they've hit a home run every time. Excellent team!
