Best Gym in South Elgin!! Great workout that you don't even have to think about. You just show up and follow the plan.

I’ve been going to different gyms for over 25 years. Coming from a former “jock” a lifetime ago and someone that has tried out multiple types of gyms…. Hands down Crosskicks is the best workout experience I’ve ever had. I was SUPER skeptical and hesitant, thinking this may be a bit gimmicky, and I was totally wrong to go in there with that attitude.No one is going to make the decision for you to improve your fitness and physical capabilities. That’s something you have to all on your own. BUT, if you are willing to put in the work. This staff (and the membership/, which is incredibly accurate. community) will do EVERYTHING possible to help you obtain your goals. You have a certified personal trainer there helping you every step of the way. They help you with your meal plans, they help you track your goals, the owners and staff help you with detailed analysis of your body fat, your muscle mass, your internal water levels, and so much more. The equipment for all of that is InBody, which is incredibly accurate. They help you track your heart rate and calorie burn if you desire, using “myzone” technology, which gives you real time data of your heart rate, calorie burn, and so much more. The trainers and owners are there to help you from start to finish in your workouts. Not only are they motivating you along the way, but they are showing you and teaching you the correct form, they are adjusting and tailoring the workout to your capabilities. They truly are there to help you.The workouts are set up for you, different each day to maximize efficiency in every way. You can be a complete beginner or a competitive athlete and they have got you 100% of the way. You don’t have to think about “what do I do next?” or “what should I do for this or that?” You just show up and put in the effort. One of the most surprising aspects of this gym though is the community… Don’t get me wrong… you can keep to yourself if that’s your thing. No worries. This gym’s membership though is something completely different than what I’ve experienced at other gyms in the past. You instantly have a group of people that are welcoming, and want to see you succeed in your goals. Lots of encouragement, lots of friendly faces, a ton of people willing to help and look out for you along the way. Super foreign to me at first, but I love it now. And it’s like that across the board at every location I’ve been to so far! I frequent the South Elgin location the most, but I’ve spent my fair share of time at the original spot in Algonquin. I love going to those two spots. If you are serious about wanting to improve certain aspects of your fitness and life, I highly recommend this place. If you stick with it, you won’t regret it! I joined this gym 4 months ago, and have made more progress with strength and endurance in the past four months than I did a in a full year at my previous gym. The coaches are motivating and helpful, the challenges are fun, and the people who workout here are nice and motivating as well. The camaraderie is unmatched. I enjoy starting the day here and look forward to my workouts every morning!

Great place to go get a variety of high energy workouts. The coaches are great and are always there to help you through your workout. Gym members are great and the friendly completions really push you to do your best!

I joined the gym at its beginning stages. It has been great to watch it grow with additional trainers and equipment. Jesse and all the coaches are positive motivators and they all help me stay on track and push me to keep going!

I had a Great experience here. Tge workout was challenging and fun at tge same time. Jesse,was awesome at demonstrating all the different exercises. I would highly recommend this place.If you want a Great Cross fit workout. This is your establishment.

I do not enjoy working out. My motto is "I only run towards food or away from danger." So I never thought I'd find a gym or a workout routine that I enjoyed- and I am SHOCKED how much I enjoy going to CrossKicks. This gym is for ALL LEVELS and ALL AGES- there are people who are clearly very intense about their workouts all the way to newbies/beginners. And the beautiful part is that everyone helps everyone. The coaches are phenomenal, but if they are busy with another client, there is no shortage of other members around willing to help if you have questions. I love this place and may actually stick to a workout routine outside of my home for the first time since college!

I love CKF. I used to go to Lifetime but never knew what to do there. I'd spend most of my time on the treadmill, stationary bike, or join one of the fitness classes but never got any results. I looked into a personal trainer, but I could not justify spending that much on one. My friend told me about CKF, and I decided to give it a go. Jess has everything planned out each day, so when you get in, there's no thinking, just doing. Monday and Thursday are leg day, Tuesday and Friday are arms day, and Wednesday is full-body/cardio. Jesse or another coach is there the whole time to help you. It's basically like having a personal trainer that is included in your membership. You start at station one and work your way around the room. Each station has your workout to do, and you're finished within 45-60 mins. I do recommend logging your weights in an app or something so you can keep track of your progress. This is a very well structured gym. Great energy in the place and is perfect for anyone who is just starting off or feels awkward going to gyms. I highly recommend it!

I have been a member at this gym for 7 months and I absolutely love it. The workouts can be intense but everything can be modified. The people, from the coaches to the members, are great and very helpful. They also offer fun challenges to help you through your fitness journey.

I have been to many gyms in the area throughout the years, Crosskicks is by far the best! Jesse takes the time to make sure you have proper form, and motivates everyone that is working out. I have been going there for about 4 months and love the results so far! I look forward to working out everyday! If you’re looking for a gym that also has a trainer present to help you achieve your goals, Crosskicks is the gym for you!

Jesse and his team are amazing. When I first started here I'd never been in a gym. I started at 36 percent body fat and as of today I'm down to 20 percent . Jesse and his team are like family and I couldn't imagine my life without them.

Best gym ever! This is is HIT style gym where you do different exercises and move from station to station.The trainers are great. The fit family here is fun, friendly and supportive. Everything is clean. Love it!

The coaches and staff are awesome. The environment of coaches, members, and invigorating playlists make every workout unique and better than the last. It really is a family and I cannot imagine working out anywhere else!
