CVS in the Target in South Elgin is so good. The people (including the pharmacists) are so nice and always helpful. I switched from Walgreens about 5 years ago and am so glad I did. I get an unusual medication that isn’t used by anyone else, so it has to be ordered by the pharmacy each month (same for CVS and Walgreens). But CVS always orders it the week before my prescription is due. Walgreens didn’t do that and I always got it a few days late.

My experience at the CVS pharmacy in South Elgin is consistently stellar. Pharmacist's Julie and David, whom are not only courteous and helpful but are also extremely diligent in expediting the process of my prescriptions in a timely manner. Additionally, my medicine is always in stock and the location of the pharmacy to my proximity is very convenient. Julie, David and all the pharmacist's techs at this location are assets to the CVS pharmacy and a compliment to the South Elgin target.

I recently (January 11, 2024) had an experience with the CVS pharmacy inside Target (530 S Randall Rd) and David, the pharmacist was absolutely wonderful!I was sent to the wrong Target pharmacy (my usual location close to home sent me because they were out of stock of an important medicine I need) and David overheard me speaking to the pharmacy tech about having been sent to his specific location and he intervened quickly and offered to look up my information and see where exactly my medicine was, and even looked up to see if they has stock.He explained that it's at another location, but if I needed the medicine that day, he had it in stock and would be happy to fill it for me.This meant a lot to me as I had already been waiting for 2 weeks on this medication. The mere fact that he was willing to go above and beyond for me is outstanding and I haven't experienced that with a Pharmacist in 15+ years!David, we need more Pharmacists such as yourself. Thank you for being sympathetic and understanding, please know that those specific qualities are rare these days, bar none.Thank you for being you.Also, the tech (I unfortunately forgot to ask her for her name) she was wonderful. She was very patient with me.When other staff have great Leadership, everything else falls into place.Warm regards, Sara M.

the lady behind the counter that wearing cover hair didn’t know what she was going. i just got wisdom teeth removal and wanna take prescription over there but she made me hard times. she keeping asking me to waiting for almost hours to looking the prescription that out of stock. she can actually let us know since the beginning instead keeping us just because worrying about the run of business.

I feel like I’ve been a frequent flier at the pharmacy lately and the staff here are wonderful. The pharmacy manager Julie is awesome. She finds coupons to bring down the price of prescriptions when our insurance discount isn’t very big, and she’s always so friendly and helpful. So happy to have this pharmacy nearby.

the lady behind the counter that wearing cover hair didn’t know what she was going. i just got wisdom teeth removal and wanna take prescription over there but she made me hard times. she keeping asking me to waiting for almost hours to looking the prescription that out of stock. she can actually let us know since the beginning instead keeping us just because worrying about the run of business.

Arrived at 1:34 pm to pick up Claritin D lady behind count Saif no she's going to lunch. Lazy workers can't take 3 minutes to scan an ID and take payment.

I was on the phone again for over an hour since the last few days and I happened to get a hold of the pharmacist Patricia at this location and she was so very helpful she even without me asking said, “would you like me to find another location for you where your prescription is available ?” She has been the only one who offered to help me with that option , thank you so very much for your amazing customer service , Merry Christmas and Hapoy New Year to you and your company !

They never have the prescription ready when promised! I call at 6:00am for a 5pm pick up and never ready on time!! The excuse they give is they were busy!!!

Absolutely the best pharmacy I have ever used! I am from a Walgreens family and was becoming more and more disgruntled by their lack of service, long wait times, etc. When an insurance change necessitated transferring to CVS, I was hesitant to choose a pharmacy without a drive thru. But since I frequent Target roughly 360 days/year, I figured it wouldn't hurt to give it a go. Wow am I glad I did! The service here is top notch, from the friendly employees to the informative pharmacist to the text updates about my prescriptions. And I am continually blown away by how fast they fill new Rx's each and every time. Thank you for your exceptional care to the patients you serve! I am a CVS customer for life now.

This is the best store to go to! I've been here too many times to count, with all good experiences. I also use target optical! Great place to go- just 1 tip stay out of the target time warp!

When I lived in town, this was the Target I frequent most often. It's a SuperTarget, but I don't really care for their produce department since there are other stores that have better selections within close proximity. What I really liked the customer service desk, they consistently delivered great service. This was over three years ago. I went back recently and happy to report that level of service has not changed.

The staff here is absolutely the best. They have always been thorough in informing me on coverages, they have gone the extra mile to switch medications to generic for me in the past to reduce my costs, and overall they are genuine and caring people. I have never had a bad experience here and highly recommend them if you are looking to switch pharmacies.
