I was discriminated against today at Vision Works. I walked in the store with a prescription and was ready to buy contacts. I was with my wife and we were the only ones in the store. Another couple walks in 5 minutes later and in the middle of assisting us, Karen tells us to sit down and wait and she proceeds to help the other couple. Instead of letting them know that she will be with them after us. My wife and I were there first and we had to wait for her to finish with the other couple. Which she should have assisted my purchase first and told the other couple to sit and wait. This is highly unacceptable and I asked to speak to a manager and no manager was present or scheduled.

Fast service, in and out with ordering glasses in less than an hour. Polite and caring doctor. Desk staff all very professional and quick!

I had an annual eye exam with Dr. Cindy Logan in South Elgin, Il. I was welcomed by the technician the minute I walked into the office. The office itself was very clean an organized and there was a large selection of frames. I was taken to pre testing within a few minutes of arrival. I had my eye pressures taken and photos were taken of the back of my eye. When the tech was finished Dr. Logan took me into the exam room right away.I have never had such a thorough eye test. When she was done I was able to see better than I have in years. I wear monovision contacts and they can be pretty tricky. Dr.Logan had me seeing perfectly out of my contacts again. I saw the difference driving home and seeing small print. I would definitely recommend seeing Dr. Logan if you are in need of an eye exam.

Went in yesterday, Doctor was awesome. Older lady upfront was rude. Vision insurance wasn't used this year and she said we had no benefits. Had to call my insurance to clarify.Lazy/angry lady?

Rude, terrible customer service. It took me 2 hours yesterday just to make an appointment. I come in today for my appointment they tell me they can't do my appointment untill my mom makes her payment. (they had her there an hour and a half for a single appointment she decided to leave because she had other priorities and errands that needed to be done. She informed them that she would be back to make the payments.) First of all I'm an adult I'm 21 years of age I shouldn't have to wait for my mom to make her payment. Very rude and unprofessional business I won't be back. I'll also reccomend my family to go elsewhere in the future. Avoid this place they love to waste your time.

Hey, Visionworks! Thank you for giving me only about 5 seconds of your time! I drove two minutes down the road to Target. It turns out, Target was able to tell me that the insurance that you “never heard of, sorry” happens to be VSP—YOUR insurance! Lol. Crazy what a little better customer service and a few moments of care can do. I might pay a little more now, but they took the time to explain the insurance and how it works, and I will utilize them out of network simply because they were kind and took a few minutes to treat me like… a CUSTOMER! I’m not telling people that you’re terrible… just didn’t do anything to earn my business! Thx! -Dale

Very Rude!!!! Guy there at the front desk doesn’t know what he’s talking about. I made an appointment and they couldn’t even verify I have vision insurance. After they supposedly called the insurance place the first time gave me a call and said I don’t have vision insurance and they can’t find me anywhere. I go ahead call my insurance double check everything turns out I’m covered. I go into this location in person told them they didn’t look me up right. The guy there said THAT I MIGHT BE LYING ABOUT MY INSURANCE!? I started laughing because why would I lie. I told him go ahead look me up again with my Member ID he said he did and nothing came up and then said he could call again and check…. After waiting for about 20 mins he calls and gives all my info once again same information…. Looks like they verified I have insurance and also he wrote a number down saying STILL that the people from BCBSIL told me that looking me up by my MEMBER ID is wrong… well he goes ahead and gives me the number the operator just gave him and ITS THE SAME NUMBER ON MY INSURANCE MY MEMBER ID NUMBER!!!!! …. He’s rude and kept wrongly accusing me that I don’t have insurance and that he had to double check on the computer because that’s fraud if that’s not me on the system and he has to double check! …. He NEVER ONCE ASKED ME TO SEE MY PHYSICAL INSURANCE CARD!!! And he lied because he said he had given my member ID number when he first talked to the operator but then at the end he was asking for it! So he didn’t give them that at first. He kept making comments like let me just double check make sure it’s you like if it was still a LIE THAT I HAVE INSURANCE! Just to let you guys know I’m Hispanic and I didn’t see him telling ALL THE OTHER PEOPLE THIS. Except me!Vision works DO BETTER!!!!!

I were there today and the Dr. Cynthia and the lady behind the counter weren’t nice at all. They talked to me with a bad attitude only because I waited too long to go back to my contacts following up after they canceled my appointment before. I explained them that I didn’t have time before and that it wasn’t my fault they canceled my appointment. I will not be back to this location! And I won’t recommend you.NEVER AGAIN!
