I contacted DOH Services several weeks ago about purchasing granite wholesale. Eventually, after several calls, I was put in contact with Brian, who I believe is an owner, or at least manager, of the place. He was pretty nice and helpful, but not very direct with me. I just wanted to see his price list and get some granite samples. He insisted on knowing a great deal about my business, browsing our website, wanting to visit in person, and asking for the most common types of granite markers we sell to give me a "quick reference" list instead of just providing me a full price list. He was way too nosy, but I answered most of his questions as best I could, because I still wanted to give it a try and place a couple orders with him.It took multiple emails to finally get a price list. Additionally, his office staff sent me tax forms they said I had to fill out to keep on file with them. This made no sense, as I would be purchasing wholesale. I pay sales tax when I make a retail sale, not them. I should've walked away at that point, but due to a lack of reliable suppliers these days with all the supply chain issues, I played along. When I finally went to ask about a quote for my potential first order, Brian was totally unresponsive. I finally gave up, and assumed they were either overwhelmed, or unorganized. I forgot about it, until my business partner decided to call Brian and ask why he had blown me off. He told my partner that they wouldn't deal with me because I was rude to their office staff. I was dumbfounded, as I had never even spoke to his office staff aside from leaving messages. He then went on to tell my partner how he deals with shady companies that don't pay their taxes, and he complained that he didn't like our website, and something about how he didn't like that I was trying to place an order for Impala Black with etching, he felt it should be jet black. (Apparently, my orders should comport to his personal taste). My partner was even more confused by his behavior than I had been. All in all, I have been in the monument business for ten years, and I never experienced a group of people give me the "run around" like DOH did. My recommendation would be to avoid this place. Brian and his staff are unresponsiveness. We simply wanted to buy granite, and Brian approached the situation from the beginning with suspicion and a lack of professionalism.
