Providence Bank & Trust is the most unethical and untrustworthy bank there is.Their VP Tim O’Brien came to our office 3 years ago and gave us a ‘schpeel’ stating “we outsmall the big banks and we outbig the small banks…. Since the beginning our bank has never not worked with our clients. Even during the housing market crisis of 2008, we didn’t give up on our clients despite their hardships…. “Needless to say it was all BullSh!t.And here we are following through on our end on every promise that my company made and this bank and its attorneys are playing hardball on legal fees and going back on their word that we have in writing. Very unreasonable at all levels. Their attorneys are just something else, if not worse. If I could give a zero or negative ⭐️ rating I would jump on it.Folk, pls take your money elsewhere. This bank is not worth it.Whatever providence bank and UNtrust has promised you - will NOT be fulfilled.

Terrible customer support. Every time I've reached out for support they don't give me a direct answer and give me the workaround. For a company that is managing people's assets this is not the way I'd expect to be treated in this day and age.For example I reached out to support to give me guidance on withdrawing money from my HELOC. Instead of providing me the solution and taking care of it for me they directed me to a 1888 hotline where of course no one answered and I left a message and haven't heard anything back.Pretty horrible.

I am incredibly frustrated with this bank. I have an online account (transferred from Urban Partnership bank) and they have been charging me $10/day for balance below some amount I was not aware of. i called to pay off and close the account, and it has been so far impossible. They told me they would close it, nothing happened. When i called to ask why, they said I had to send an email; then when nothing happened after the email; next they said oh no I had to send a letter. This is the worst service I have ever received.

Very personal approach to customer service that is not experienced at other banking institutes.

People make the difference in any business, and when you walk into the bank you instantly sense the friendly and helpful atmosphere.

Friendly staff. They go out of their way to make you feel welcome. They also have made it one of my kids favorite places to go. She looks forward to depositing her money.

Avoid this bank!!! I was with another bank that got acquired by this one. They gave me false verbal and written information that resulted in me being charged ridiculous fees. The manager was rude over the phone. STAY AWAY!!
