I received phenomenal service from Steve at S&S auto service in Napleton, and can’t say enough about how he got me back on the road quickly. My coolant reservoir on my Jeep Wrangler was cracked and I bought a replacement part from a Jeep dealer who had no time to replace the defective part on Saturday afternoon. After calling Steve, he told me to come right over, and he didn’t know me and he replaced the cracked one himself. Steve is an outstanding and dedicated repair specialist. I highly recommend his shop.

Please stay away from this shop and the owner.
State farm paid him to put a motor in my niece vehicle in November.He told me he could fix her car.
When he put a motor in her car and the car kept driving sluggish.i took the car back complaining. I ask him did he change the turbo.
He told me he didn't no car had a turbo.
I knew then we were in trouble.
I told him when I took the car to him it was a 4 cylinder honda turbo car.
Long story short he said he never done a turbo.
Messed my niece car up.
Instead of saying he did not no how to do.
I kept taking car back telling him it not running right.
He would take this little black box go up under the hood wiggle a few wires.
Telling me it should b ok.
Anyway July 24 2024. Her car started acting up .
I had to take it to Honda.They charged me 4200.00 to fix her car. It was terrible all the things that they told me he had messed up her car .
My insurance paid him to fix it.
But because I didn't use there people I had to go back to S &S.
I refuse to let him totally destroy her car.
So since they paid him I ask if he could help with this bill.
It was terrible how he talked to me.
I was so surprised.
I didn't think he was this type of person.
He act like he has a terrible problem.
So take my advise stay away from his shop.
When I first entered his shop I should have changed my mind.
But trying to support our BLACK BUSINESS.
Please take my advise .
Stay away from there.

My battery died on me while I was out with my 2 kids & I’m 7 months pregnant. Im not from the area and didn't know who to call. I called S & S and the guy who answered got to me in less than 10 minutes. He gave me a jump & told me what was wrong for FREE. Talk about a blessing. When my truck started making noises while I was driving I was directed to S&S Auto Service by a friend. Best move I could have made ! Steve is very personable, courteous & knowledgeable. He fixed my truck in one hour & I was back on the road. Thank you Steve !!

This is hands down the best mechanic I've been to. I was told by multiple mechanics my alternator was bad, my wires were draining the battery, and everything else under the sun! But Steve knew my vehicle and knew it was the hood light causing my batteries - yes plural, batteries - to drain. I had purchased the second alternator when I visited for him to install and he told me to take it back and get my money because I didn't need it! That said a lot about him as a person and the way my vehicle rides now after the tune up and egr valve says a lot about him as a mechanic! I will forever recommend this auto shop to everyone!
