I am so happy with everything about this hotel, especially Tyler the manager. I made a big mistake and he was not only understanding about it, he helped me resolve it quickly and with so much kindness. We need more people like Tyler in this world! Many thanks, from a very happy customer. Next time we're in town, we'll be back to stay for sure!

We were coming to town for a competition at the Illinois School for the Visually Impaired. I looked at the reviews for all of the hotels in town and saw the Sleep Inn & Suites was getting the highest reviews. My husband suggested I just stay elsewhere. I am so glad I went with the Sleep Inn. The hotel is newer and well maintained. The front desk employee was pleasant, helpful, kind, and attentive. The breakfast included waffle makers, bagels, danishes, bread/toast, dry cereal, instant oatmeal, scrambled eggs and sausage links that were well made and tasty, yogurt, hardboiled eggs, three different juices, milk, and coffee. Our one night with the included free breakfast was less than $90 after taxes. There is an indoor pool, but we did not use it. This hotel was one of the best values I have stayed at in a long time. Thanks for a pleasant and comfortable stay!

Right next to gas station's plus next to the interstate. The only thing it's missing is a commercialized restaurant in the general vicinity, other than taco johns. The staff (including the maintenance man)is wonderful and I will stay again.Noteworthy details: Excellent staff and well maintained hotel

The room was comfortable and I slept well but the shower basically had 0 water pressure which was disappointing. Made taking shower difficult. The treadmill in the exercise room was dead and we went t the front desk but no one was there as was the case each time we walked through the lobby. If my travels take me in this direction again will pass on staying at this hotel.

Booked a Friday night and a Saturday night (2 separate) reservations because we were not sure if we would be arriving Friday night. We ended up arriving Friday and stayed Saturday night as well. As it turned out the hotel charged us for Sunday night also, when we had left the hotel at 10:30 am on Sunday morning. I called the hotel front desk and they said I was charged Sunday night because there were personal items left in the room. I have never in my life heard of this. When I asked what personal items were left in the room the person at the front desk could even tell me what the items were.

Had to cancel our weekend reservations due to being sick. We gave as much notice as we could just under 24 hours which was supposed to be 48 hours. They charged our card for one of the 2 nights as protocol. I called this morning and talked to the manager on duty Tyler. He was very sympathetic and understanding and said he would take care of the charge as a courtesy due to circumstances and really made the Sleep Inn in Jacksonville show that it’s a place that really does care for it’s customers and would highly recommend this as the best place to stay in Jacksonville. I’ve stayed here a few times before for work and family and it’s always been very clean, quiet and hands down the nicest hotel in town. Thanks Tyler!

Nice rooms and facilities but every morning the woman would start cleaning up breakfast 5-10 minutes prior to breakfast closing. Placing all chairs on the tables and removing items from the breakfast bar. If the breakfast is open til 930 it's fully stocked and opened til 9:30.

Extremely comfortable - great bed, great shower, good climate control on a hot night. Staff is friendly and helpful. I have two caveats: First, my room was near an elevator and I could hear it chiming. Fortunately, I didn't hear it until morning so it didn't keep me up. Still, I'd suggest a room away from the elevator. Second, there was a boil water order in town and the notification of it could have been better. I was told at the front desk there was a boil water order and was given two bottles of water and was informed washing with the water was ok. Signs were up that the boil water order was why where was no ice and no coffee. (Nearby gas stations also had no coffee.) Still, I think more notices (maybe in the elevator) or some sort of notice in the room itself would have helped so a person didn't inadvertently drink the water from the tap. I was informed at checkin, but still I thought the information might not get through to everyone. Also, after 650 miles of driving, two water bottles wasn't really enough -- you gotta use it for tooth-brushing, too. I wish I had taken more water bottles from my car. It's great that Sleep Inn complied with the townwide boil water order rather than sickening customers with coffee made with unboiled water; it's great I got the message; I'm just not sure everyone got the message. The room itself is very comfortable.

Our stay was mostly good. The rooms were clean and the bed was fine. But oh my goodness are the rooms small. The smallest hotel rooms we have been in. If you are traveling light and overnight, it's fine. But we stayed for several days with quite a bit of luggage and it was very small. It was quieter than other hotels, though. Just very small.Rooms: Small rooms!!!
