We got our dog from Sunset Training Center and we love him to death. We get compliments on him daily and refer Sunset all the time. Our dog is extremely well behaved and listens better than any dog I've ever been around. He has ZERO health problems due to the correct German bloodline. Get your German shepherd from here!

We have gotten two dogs from Claudia. The first one is 4 years old, friendly, intelligent, and is all around amazing. However, the second one (Zelda) was problematic until we returned her. Zelda would just sit in the corner like a statue for hours, staring at us with a worried expression on her face. She wouldn’t play with our other dog, eat treats, peanut butter, or chicken, just dog food in a bowl. She wouldn’t follow her existing commands that she learned at Sunset Training. After 3 months she was unable/unwilling to learn any new commands and was not fully potty trained even after months of training. When we called and texted Claudia, she kept telling us that Zelda just needed more time. After a month with no improvement, I had to be pretty firm that she needs to take a look at Zelda, something isn’t right. The conclusion of the training session was that when I gave Zelda a bath, I had somehow lost her trust. While my past and current dogs aren’t huge fans of baths, they never carried a grudge after being dried off and played with in the yard, so I’m not sure that her conclusion was right. After another few months, more training sessions, vet visits, asking Claudia to take Zelda back, and countless hours of at home training, attention, and love, it became clear there was something going on inside Zelda’s head that we would never be able to fix. When Zelda started running away, that was when we knew Zelda needed to go back to the breeder. Zelda just wasn’t happy or thriving. We called Claudia and made it clear that Zelda would be dropped off the following day. No more excuses. When my wife dropped off Zelda, Claudia made numerous unprofessional remarks. As the previous reviews mentioned, getting any kind of a refund was a problem. If Claudia is going to charge $2,500 for her dogs, they really shouldn’t be traumatized by a bath or whatever the real story is with Zelda. I’ve handed out Claudia’s contact info to many people interested in getting a quality German Sheppards in the past, but I think it’s time to find a new breeder.

We met with claudia and she matched my 6yr with a semi trained service dog. We raised 4k dollars for a dog. We got the dog home and figured it was just an adjustment period for the dog. In 2 months the dog destroyed my home. Bit my children including my special needs daughter she was "trained" for. My kids were scared of her. We went in for hwr mandatory training and she did very little with her. And worked on nothing to get her past the issues. The last straw was when the dog knocked me and my newborn over trying to get him in his carseat and he fell and hit his head. We told her enough was enough it was unsafe for the dog around out children. She said she was busy and couldnt take the dog. My husband told her we would drop the dog off over an hour away from our home. That night or she would be going to a shelter. She refused to refund us. Refused to answer any calls or text after that. Not only did she refuse refund. She refused to pair us with a different dog. We asked for a younger less trained dog for the same cost so the dog would be trained for a child. And still refused to make it right. She needs to be shut down!

Extremely disappointed! We were assured they were not out to just take our money but after two sessions where we mainly sat in the trainers livingroom with little actual training happening we decided to cancel the remaining 4 session's. We paid upfront for 6 sessions with no signed contract and were refused a refund for the unused 4 sessions.

I have two beautiful German Shepherds from Claudia and they are absolutely perfect. Not only are they very healthy and beautiful but their temperaments are so calm. Of course, if I was threatened I’m very sure they would protect me. With the training one of them is my ESA and is great for me. I couldn’t ask for a better trainer or breeder for my fur children.

I purchased a puppy from here in 2012 and he has been very easy to train. He has 7 obedience and rally titles and was invited 3 times to the ****** ******** Rally Championship. We went onc time to the one in Grey Summit Mo. He was high in trial at the *********** Training Club yearly obedience trial in 2015 for open (C.D.X.). I would gladly recommend this breeder to everybody who asked.

Absolutely beautiful puppy purchased several months ago. He has the gentlest disposition and is so smart. We purchased him to be trained as a service dog and Claudia is doing a beautiful job with my daughter and the dog!
