Hours posted online aren’t current/accurate. Came by the store yesterday and today while in town but it’s closed. Looks like they have a lot of cool things though.

A delightful place to shop. The owner gave us the history and personal story behind each item when we inquired. If you’re looking for original and unique items, this is the perfect place!

The owner, Mike, was incredibly rude. This guy has horrible people skills. I am shocked that they are still in business with his horrible personality.

If you have to find yourself in Springfield Illinois and looking for an interesting and one-of-a-kind type of souvenir store then this is the store to pay. I believe it’s owned by a husband and wife and she is very friendly and explains everything about the history of the building to the items in the store. I didn’t get an opportunity to talk to the husband. The store of course being across from the Lincoln Museum has many items relating to Abraham Lincoln. This is not your typical souvenir store selling junk that’s made in Japan but instead pieces of history that has survived the ugly hand of time!

This shop owner needs to interact with more humans. Truly an a hole. I feel bad for him.

This was the cutest little place- sorta split into two. There was one half with the super expensive local history stuff, and then next door the wife had a cute little spot with less expensive items--like post cards and little tchotchkes. I love in the window of the expensive half, there was an 1890s bicycle from Chicago. There was also a fun former component of a post office, in tact, with multiple p. o boxes and the little outgoing mail slot. This is across from the Lincoln Museum and library. The building is so cute as well.
