Don’t bother making a reservation they don’t mean anything. I made the reservation two months in advance to be called an hour before pick up time and told they didn’t have a mini van. Then called me back two hours later to tell me they had a third row seating vehicle. Never told me I had to use a credit card and not a debit card for the deposit so I drive 35 minutes to get the car to have to turn around. I send my husband to get the vehicle only for him to get there and they told him they gave it to someone else. They didn’t even bother to call to tell me they were giving it away.

Absolutely horrible, had the worst experience. Staff is incompetent, terrible customer service. Avoid this place!!!

Picking up the car was a breeze. Returning the car was a cluster. No one in lot to return the car to. No one at the desk inside at 9:00 am. Waited for @ 10 minutes when a gentleman showed up at the inside desk. When I approached, he told me they did not open till 10. I told him I was returning a car and no one was outside at the car return area. I handed him my keys and he said “ Is that all?” I said yes and continued my walk through the terminal.

The people at the counter are super nice ... The car was nice aside from the fact that it smelled like someone was sitting next to me smoking a cigarette every time I turned the air conditioner on... A lot if febreze and windows down to not have a brain aneurysm from the terrible headaches of breathing it in!!

Horrible service. Left me and my wife with a nightmare after arriving in Gainesvill Fla. with our flight. Flight was delayed several hours, so I called about our scheduled rental car, which was already paid for, and was assured somebody would be there at Alamo since they were aware of the delay. We got to Alamo and noone was there, leaving us high and dry in a strange city with no cabs in sight. We had a long drive ahead of us. We will never use these bums again.

Good last minute deals, great vehicle availability but anything left in car for more than 10 minutes after the car is turned in is gone forever. ANYTHING.

This location has the worst customer service. I returned a car after business hours two weeks ago, and I noticed a week later on my card's online activity that they charged me $700+ as my total charge, which is so much greater than the $150 estimate I was provided. I called the customer service line, and they explained to me that I was charged a "lost keys fee." I definitely returned the keys in the dropbox the night I returned the car. My biggest problem with this rental car facility is that THEY NEVER CONTACTED ME (no email or phone call) to confirm with me if I returned the keys. I definitely put those keys, along with a note, in their dropbox. Another issue I have with the Alamo location at Abe Lincoln Capital Airport is that each time I have called to speak to the manager to give me a refund, she's unavailable. I have suggested that they request surveillance tapes for the time frame I know I returned the car and keys. (Please know that I still have not received a receipt to explain my charges; I only know of the large total charge by what was reported on my card's online transaction summary.) It has been 2 weeks, and nothing has been resolved. I have gone as far as requesting to speak to a supervisor through corporate's customer service line.

I had an issue with Alamo concerning the availability of a car I reserved. I was more than upset. Thankfully Alamo through its online support fixed everything and I am once again on the road with Alamo*. *patent pending.
