I walked in. Stood there for nearly 10 minutes. No one said Hello. No one said, We'll be with you shortly. Nothing. That is trrible customer service! I'd give Zero stars if I could.

I don’t have a bad time with AT&T stores nor I have ran into any issues but that wasn’t my experience here today. My AT&T account showed that I could upgrade to a new phone as I am enrolled in the Next-Up Anytime program. I went into this store to see how the early upgrade would affect my bill. The associate Nick assisted me but said that the early upgrade option was not available for me unless I paid 10 more installments or almost $300. I asked repeatedly if that was right because it didn’t make sense that I was able to do the transaction on my account and it did not require that and it also said I made the payments (33% of the total) I needed to do the upgrade. Next Up Anytime allows customers to upgrade after just 30 days or 1 payment or when 33% of the phone was paid off which my account said I had completed both. I then drove to their S 6th Street location which was able to give me my Early Upgrade with NO NEED to pay 10 payments or $300. Had I done what the associate said I would’ve paid an unnecessary $300. Sometimes you have to take what a customer is saying at value, as mistakes can be made. The associate wasn’t rude, but I didn’t feel like I was given the proper assistance nor did the associate properly look into the matter I was concerned about which made the whole experience awkward and caused me extra unnecessary time spent on this.

3 people working. One person’s job is to try to convince you to leave as soon as you show up. I was there because my phone bill is $300 more a month than I was quoted. Another person walked in and said the same thing and the customer service person said that they should either go online or come back after the holidays because they wouldn’t have any time to help her. I waited over an hour to pay off my phones which were $1700 dedpite the fact that I was told they were included with my plan. There was a tablet on my account, which I never purchased or received in any fashion, which they also made me pay off to be able to leave the service. Terrible service, worse wait times

My appreciation & gratitude for excellent service from the Store Manager Jordan & store rep Brooke. I called from out of state explaining I was seeking immediate service for my senior relatives with medical needs.. As briefly as I could I explained situation & the needs to be met to resolve the situation. Jordan listened , understood & responded by communicating clearly the options available. AT&T should be thrilled to have this high level of personable & professional service offered to their clients. Outstanding!

Springfield ATT store, A Super, Awesome Experience!
Today, my wife and I went to the Springfield, Illinois ATT store on Wabash Avenue. We were there to purchase a new IPhone for me and an Apple Watch for my wife. The service was Absolutely Extraordinary! Alyssa (store manager) Nick (salesperson) and Emily (salesperson) exhibited tremendous knowledge and kindness in helping us determine what IPhone and Apple would best serve our needs! All three put together a Herculean effort in answering every question and providing the best customer service we have ever received when making a major purchase! Not only did we consider the service first rate, we left considering them our friends!!
