The worst customer service ever. I have been a customer since 1997 and I am a former employee as I previously worked at a corporate store. We recently upgraded 2 of our 10 lines at this store. I was shocked when I received our bill which had increased by $200. No plan changes were made but there were several added charges that were lot requested or even discussed. Each line had a next up charge and insurance added. We already pay $50 for the multi-line insurance which hasn’t been used in years so I was really confused as to why more insurance was added. I came into the store and requested that the charges be removed and the sales rep told me he could only remove the features if they had been on the line for two weeks. He said these added features are REQUIRED to do an upgrade n any phone. Asked three times and he told me there was NO way to upgrade a phone without adding these features. I requested credits for the charges added and he told me they would not credit my account and good luck getting them credited through 611. I left and started calling around through my old ATT contacts and not only was I told this is false information it’s illegal. These features are optional features for a customer to add and not mandatory. I am currently investigating how to report this as well. It’s unreal how greedy this company has become. My 27 years as a customer are not enough, my 10 lines are not enough, my $500 a month bill is not enough you have to add unauthorized charges and tell me they are MANDATORY in order to receive an upgrade. I’m currently using my contacts within the company to escalate this. It’s truly disgusting how you treat your customers.

After 3 attempts to not have to wait for help, I was lucky to have kevontae Powell as my customer rep. He walked me through an email problem on my husbands phone. He was a great help. It was all done in 15 minutes. I always go here first. Thanks

Simply requested a phone upgrade. Agent at AT&T store somehow interpreted that as a request to modify data plan and to add several new monthly insurance and home protection fees to my account. Save yourself some heartache and go right to the phone manufacturer instead of a carrier store. The only positive experience I encountered here was returning the device after countless hours of frustrating phone service to get issue resolved.

Cayden, the rep at the S Veterans Parkway in Springfield, IL location, was a tremendous help. He was extremely easy to talk to and very helpful

Recently had a huge issue after upgrading when billing time came around. Fortunately the store manager Dillion was able to help sort things out. I’m still waiting to see if they will be correcting the bill that’s already been generated and to see if my next monthly bill will be correct but I will update. Thanks to Dillion AT&T still has my family’s business

Went to the store with trade in phones. The employees failed to register the trade ins. In addition , they signed us up for the unnecessary upgrade and unnecessary insurance payments without our permission. Now we are stock with paying regular prices for 3 new phones that were supposed to be free. Will leave ATT after 18 years. Similar complaints are posted in the past several years, apparently.

I came in with some issues with my service. Kaiden took care of my issues very quick and had my service restored. Highly recommend kaiden for any issues or if you're looking to buy a new phone in general!

Not only did the extremely large black woman fail to set up service correctly, she failed to issue a receipt, gave me a SIM card with only internet connection, she stuck the cash payment I made of $61.58 in her pocket and stole from the company! This place is absolute joke and that black lady is absolutely disgusting

The employee had no clue what she was doing, set up phone incorrectly, refused refund to me, failed to issue a phone number, and only gave me data! Who only gets data on a phone! Obviously poor customer service and I wouldn’t send anyone here

The staff in the store are friendly wish they would slow it down felt a little rushed and pressured but overall it was okay.
