The guys were very helpful. It was negative 6 degrees & they tested my battery & had to put in a new one for me while freezing. Everyone was so nice & I'm very grateful for all their help. I would definitely recommend going there for all your auto needs.

I’m not sure what his name is, but I had a VERY NICE gentleman install a battery for me, FOR FREE!
I had purchased a car battery at a different store and they wouldn’t install it for me. After going to many different places in town and not finding anything open, I stopped here and the gentleman I talked to spent 20+ minutes outside in the cold, putting in the battery for me. When I asked what I owed him, he said NOTHING! He didn’t charge me! So nice!

Amazing service!!! I came in 20 minutes before closing to get my battery changed and the worker helped me out. I really appreciated him helping me especially since I’m not from the area. You don’t find many people that will do things like that for you.

My headlight went out while I was out of town and Jamie at the Autozone on 9th street in Springfield, Illinois not only helped me find the right bulb, but he installed it for me. Jamie was kind and knowledgeable. He even walked me through how to replace the bulb in the event I needed to in the future.

I had an unpleasant experience at this location on 9th St for the first time in 28 years. I normally never had any problems with any employees at this store in the past, as they all seemed to be friendly and helpful. But today, as soon as I walked in there, it felt pretty awkward not feeling like I was welcomed in there. No hi nor good morning. But as soon as other people came in ( white customers) they immediately acknowledged their presence. I needed an oil for my car so I told this guy employee what type of car I drive, then he showed me which type of oil to get, which was at the end of aisle 5. That wasn't normal for me to experience this as every single time I went there before, they always walked with me to show me where it was at. Then when I asked him to help me to put the oil in, he said, he normally wouldn't do it as it's against their policy. When we came out of the store and while he was pouring the oil into the receptacle, he asked me to watch out for his boss. I was like, are you talking about that Spanish looking dude? He said yes. I told him that dude he was talking about always offered to help me in the past. I believe this dude whom I dealt with today is racist. He gave me a negative vibe. I will not be coming back to this location at all!

Oscar is a regular consistent help at my neighborhood store. He help me today replace a break Light in less than ten minutes so that I can get on the road to chicago safely.
He moved quickly and helped me every step of the way. I really appreciate his calm and helpful Demeanor and he got the job done.
