“A friend picked up a box of Pease’s chocolates for me while passing through and I’m going to have to start making chocolate road trips, that’s just my life now. Perfect in every way, every single piece was gorgeous, unique, and delicious.”
“This Is A GREAT Locally Owned & Operated Business.
I had the pleasure of meeting one of the owners this morning.
I came in just to ask if the BF'n Bear in the entrance was for sale. Short story..It Isn't Any More!
??Thanks Y'all

“I do like a Fannie May chocolate on occasion. In reality, I really like Fanny May chocolates any time that I can get my hands on them - day or night. Fortunately for my waistline, this place isn't very convenient to where we live.
These are the chocolates I grew up eating on special occasions. I had a grandfather with a sweet tooth such that when we went to get a box of chocolates together there was always a lot of sampling going on. The man could look at the swirls and decorations on top of the chocolates and tell exactly what was in each one. Back in the days when they would set out a whole tray of chocolates he would always tell the ladies behind the counter when something was out of place. Also, we would get two boxes every time...one we let Grandma know we bought and one that he stashed away. He's been gone for almost 40 years but every time I set foot in a Fannie May location I'm reminded of those days spent with him.
This place is quite a bit different than the Fannie May store that we frequented when I was little but the tastes and selections are pretty much unchanged. The price is definitely NOT unchanged but reasonable for the quality. I'm just glad that they are in a location which isn't very convenient to me because I can hardly walk out of the place for less than $30.
Their prices seem to have gone up significantly in the past few years but they still make some of the best stuff around and every bite reminds me of time spent with my grandfather who passed in 1987. Hard to stick a price tag on that!”
“Neat candy shop located inside Scheels. A little expensive but as to be expected. Super nice gal at the register on July 5th evening shift. She needs a raise.”
