Will Not Use Again- I am sure that plenty of people have a good experience with 10 Federal Storage, but mine ended up horrible and it really caught me by surprise ( because I prefer to give people the benefit of the doubt). I have had the same unit since 2020. In Fall of 2022 I contacted 10 Federal Storage to ask about the amount of spiders I was seeing. They were big and everywhere. I am familiar with having storage units…. It was way more than I have experienced before. They did not reply to my attempt at contact. Months later I inquired again as well as asked a couple questions about closing out my unit. No response. A couple months later I just decide to move my things out of the unit and close up since it wasn't needed anymore (and the price had gone up over the years from about 50 to about 80 for the smallest unit there). I arrived at the unit and saw a 10 Federal Storage Lock on my unit. I called the number they provide and got the code but no reason for why it is on the unit and mine is missing. I also found out that there was a documented work order for someone coming out to “take care of the spiders”( Feb 2023) but no one confirmed that with me AND did not document why their lock was on my unit. When I opened up the unit ALL of my stuff had been ruined. Boxes turned over, bags ripped, items all over the floor, mouse poop everywhere, dead mice, tore up mice (head in one place, body in the next, bodies dried up and plastered to my things)…it was horrible. There is no office for 10 Federal Storage, only the number they provide you. When I did finally speak with the property manager he was not informed of anyone coming to do a spider treatment and he really couldn’t tell me what happened to my stuff. He shared that someone could have broken in and although he would have a put a lock on my unit if it was found unsecure- someone may not have documented it the way they were supposed to. Which meant I had no idea when this had happened to my things (and had been paying for months for my trashed things to just sit there) and honestly I wonder about whoever came to respond to the spiders….how else would they have even gotten in my unit?? And why didn’t I know anything was being done to my unit? And why was the property manager not informed? Over the course of multiple days I called their number so.many.times. I tried to make a claim 4 times through the website they provide you and every time I told someone it wasn’t working, they encouraged me to try it again in a different way. Eventually the insurance company responded to my contact and gave me a paper copy to try and fill out still telling me it’s meant to be done online…..sigh. I don't feel good about their claims process. I can say just about every person I talked to tried to be helpful with what they understood but I felt like I was going in circles with no real answers, repeating the situation to everyone, and not being directed to anyone who could actually help me. The property manager was also apologetic but only knew what he knew. My feeling is that the system is not effective and if you slip through the cracks they don’t have a good way of helping you or knowing what is going on with your stuff. I am extremely disappointed. I have lost important items and have zero answers, which feels so violating. I was told the camera footage only holds two months worth of footage, so they weren’t able to help me. Which makes me feel angry because I believed my stuff was safe and it was not.

I am very pleased with my storage unit experience. The facility is locked and I feel secure using it. The staff have always been very responsive and kind. The answer my questions quickly and issues are resolved. Highly recommend 10th Federal Storage.

Got a divorce and moved then I noticed my bill wasn’t coming out and I thought I had on auto pay. I called and found out it was not on auto pay and that I could change my address and my last name change online so I am very happy.
