“I rented at the Springfield Illinois location, at the airport. The counter person was SPECTACULAR and went ABOVE AND BEYOND. This guy needs a raise and put in charge of your training! Got me on the road and when I returned the car in Salt Lake City...the lot attendants were very fast and friendly. I am immediately switching my personal and business accounts to Alamo from Enterprise (they have hit bottom). Definitely enjoyed my Alamo experience!”

“We rented a car in at the Lansing Airport from and extremely pleasant representative and on the way to Springfield were hit by something that broke the passanger window and shattered passenger side mirror. From that horrible experience on everyone we spoke or dealt with at National gave us 5 star service. Everyone we spoke to on the phone first question was are you safe. It was so nice to know they cared about our well being first and foremost. They also asked if we were in a safe place and how they could help. You could tell their concern was sincere and they were just not reading a script.
The next morning we got to the Springfield, Illinois Airport and were greeted by Yolanda. Again first thing she asked was if we were ok and then got us a new car immediately with a positive attitude and smile. Thanks for the great service! It is nice to know National provides great service and support in a bad situation.”
“Shoutout to Yolanda R. I’m not sure if this is where I leave a review for someone in particular, but I was having a terrible day at no fault but my own. I was supposed to fly in somewhere completely different (quad cities) . I had to take a flight into Springfield instead. Yolanda gave me the best customer service, I’m not sure if she saw my tired face, my exhaustion, or frankly my lack of self awareness of my stupid mistake of missing my flight, but she took care of me. Friendly smile, eased my frustration, a quick resolution of getting me my vehicle. If anyone need a raise or promotion or whatever you as a company does to take care of their employees. Yolanda deserves it. I don’t right reviews often. I work in the service industry my whole life, the only time I make reviews is when someone really deserves it. If you happen to read this. “Needed a car for a couple of days. I spoke with a kind gentleman on the phone confirming the models available. I came in that afternoon and picked it up. The car was clean and in top working order. The gentleman I spoke with on the phone showed me the features on the vehicle, there was minimal wait time, and I was in and out quickly. Returning it was quick and easy after hours with a key drop at the door and the final cost was exactly as quoted. If we need to rent again, we will definitely contact Hertz.”
