My experience surpassed expectations with a thorough wash and highly efficient vacuums—a notable improvement over past encounters with inadequate suction at other places I have been. They provide microfiber towels for drying, alongside window and all-purpose cleaner. They also had an automatic mat cleaner, which worked well and further impressed me.Mike, an employee, stood out for his helpfulness and patience, especially as I decided over a monthly wash plan. He even followed up with me before I left, ensuring my satisfaction. Mike was professional and friendly. I am happy with my discovery of this car wash and confidently recommend it to others.”
“The absolute best carwash anywhere with the best employees. Suggestion; the employee that directs you into the carwash should wear bright gloves. It is difficult to see their hand motions wearing black gloves in front of a black brush. Thanks.”

“We are from out of town but stopped in today to wash the work truck. A gentleman came out to check on us and to see how the pressure was with the spray wand. There actually was low pressure in our wash bay and the gentleman with the beard hooked us up with another bay and complimentary wash without hesitation. He really went out of his way to take care of us. It’s hard to find great customer service like this. I highly recommend Car Wash City.”

“On Nov 15, 2025 when we needed Roadside Assistance from Enterprise Rental Car we spoke with so many people that the person I want to thank the most is the AAA Towing Driver that went to the airport to pick up our car and then bring it to us for us to be able to continue our 18 hr trip. He was the most helpful and pleasant with us, even after his issues with the airport picking it up. Even his dispatcher got involved. After he got the car he sent me pictures to make sure the size would be the right one this time. I’m sorry his name was forgotten but after starting at 8am to get this car and finally getting it at 7pm names were a blur, sorry. Thank you for all your help when others wouldn’t listen.”
“Great off the beaten track car wash where there’s no waiting, and the prices are just about the best in town. Not only will it do a sufficient job in getting your vehicle clean, it’ll also blow dry it… and least we forget the undercarriage! Well worth the trip for a shiny automobile!”

“This is the best car wash in town i think. I love quick pass access that i get with my monthly membership. I go threw 2-3 times a week. No need to bring anything because they suply all you need. GOOD micro fiber towels and glass cleaner. The vacuums work really well and they even have an air compresser thing to blow out all those hard to get areas. You get a real complete clean at Rainstorm.”

“I went over there when the air pump at Meijer was not working, found out the cars tire was off the rim partially and the mechanics in the detailing bay jumped to help me get the vehicle to Chevy. They helped me creep it over and go me into Chevy in no time! Super great people, they even came back over to the dealership to check on the progress. Just wanted to say thank you again:)”

“Great experience and wash here! The self serve vacuums are great and allow cleaning in narrow areas like between the seat and center console. The pre-wash by the employee is a nice bonus and the wash itself is fantastic!”
“First time at this location, and it is by far so much better than other locations in Springfield or Decatur. The final brush at the end after the dryer is so beneficial for the windshield when dealing with excess water for vehicles that the dryers aren't able to reach certain levels. Also, not having to repeatedly press the switch at the vacuums was much appreciated as well. The staff are courteous and helpful. The only thing I wish they all would change up is the rinse. Always a lot of sudsy soap still left on certain areas and it happens at every one in the 2 towns that I have tried. Otherwise, this location is awesome ?”

Great atmosphere very welcoming and definitely Stephen Luker Ower of the establishment was very gracious to answer any questions it was kind enough to give me a dry towel after making the wrong selection on the Bending machine”
