We don't drink alcohol, so we had never been inside The Corkscrew until today when we attended a Celebration of Life for a recently deceased friend. The event was well set up with plenty of seating, an excellent buffet, a nice selection of red and white wines, and large glasses of ice water for us and non-drinking friends. It was a convivial atmosphere that helped us with the sadness we felt for our departed friend. We also thought it would be a nice venue for a party with all the work done for us rather than having it in our home.

The product selection and the knowledgeable welcoming staff at the Corkscrew is second to none. They also have great prices and run really good weekly specials. I highly recommend this local business.

Corkscrew Wine Emporium is a great store, with wonderful products and events. People are friendly and their special events are informative and fun! You should definitely visit them if you have not done so before.

My husband and I always enjoy our visits to Corkscrew. The owners, David and Danielle, are wonderful and have created a very warm and welcoming environment. All the staff are interactive, knowledgeable and happy to help! Excellent variety of high quality wines (reasonably priced!) available for opening to enjoy there, and/or take home. They offer weekend tasting opportunities which are perfect for discovering new wines. What a treasure to have in central Illinois!

I've been buying wine at The Corkscrew for over 25 years. Their selection of wines from around the world is excellent. If they don't have what you are looking for they will help you find it. The staff is exceptional. Danielle and David are the very best! The Corkscrew is a special place run by very special people. Salute!

Absolutely love this place! The owners and employees are incredible. So knowledgeable and friendly, my husband and I love going in to enjoy a glass of wine and conversation. We always find something new to try in the meat/cheese area and the owner is always recommending the best options. I can not say enough great things about this place!!

Amazing wine store with a huge selection! Wonderful family atmosphere, and lots of helpful and knowledgeable staff. It's nice to be able to relax with a glass of wine while you browse their aisles. The owners, Dave and Danielle, are always available to chat or help choose a wine. AND...they lead wine tours all over the world! Love this place!
