County Market is a family-owned grocery store with a rich history dating back to 1917 in Quincy, Illinois. Known for their commitment to quality, they offer popular items like their famous fried chicken, Texas Sheet Cake, and made-from-scratch Meals to Go. Customers appreciate the friendly and helpful staff, along with a clean store environment that provides a pleasant shopping experience. Many mention the store's excellent fried chicken and overall good service. The store is open 24/7, which adds convenience for shoppers. However, some reviews note higher prices compared to larger stores, especially on eggs, cheese, deli items, and canned goods. While prices can be high, the loyalty program offers some savings. Some customers feel the store could improve communication about pricing and hours, and a few mention issues with loyalty cards and pricing transparency. Overall, County Market is seen as a reliable local option for those wanting a friendly, clean store with quality food, despite some concerns about prices and store management.
Good, convenient grocery store, although an abbreviated County Market. I love that it's got a little upstairs where you can eat.

They dont close at 11pm, Google is wrong. Past that, this is a smaller store that still has 95% of what you need. Staff was always friendly, prices are good considering the economy, and the store is clean. Make sure to look by the front registers for clearance merchandise!

I went there to get there gizzards from the deli even though I bought more then that. The make the gizzards and livers fresh. You go there tell them how much you want and they make it for you. I don't shop there much, but they have these tenderloins that are amazing. I'm sure you'll find what you need.
