I was having issues at the counter with my care pass and my app. Thank u to Trish for saving the day! She was very helpful, patient, and friendly with her assistance. i'm deducting 1 star bc of the pharmacy personnel and their lack of customer service. I think I stood in the pharmacy for about 5 minutes. No one acknowledged my presence. And when they were ready to assist me, the lady walked up to the counter, "what's ur name? what's ur date of birth?" No "hello!" No "sorry for ur wait". No "can i help u?"...plus there were 5 people working behind that counter, so I didn't understand how come I was ignored for so long. But, thanks to Trish and the pretty Indian lady, i will be back!

Scheduled a flu shot and drove a half hour to get to CVS and was told they didn’t accept our insurance which is only the biggest health insurance provider in Illinois so makes total sense. I was even sent an email confirmation and provided my insurance online when making the appointment. Not even a phone call as a heads up. I tried switching from Walgreens to CVS but I won’t make that mistake again.

I went here to take a COVID test. The pharmacist asked me if I’ve ever taken a test before.. Yes I have. Who hasn’t in this day and age? Anyways she gives me the bags to self administer it myself and left the window. She didn’t tell me what to do with the bags or where to place the bag when I was done. Take your test at Walgreens and save your time.

The drive-thru just may be the worst in Springfield. If you want to be a Pharmacy,...then be a Pharmacy. I waited outside for 10-15 min. before realizing the car at window was getting tested. Several in car.....meanwhile all other customer lanes were not being served(3-4 cars waiting). I went inside and was greeted by an insulate customer and a rude clerk. The clerk called the manager on me. I finally found out the prescription had not been called in as yet as I had thought from the doctor at 2:30. I would have been happy to hear that 15 min. earlier. Be a Pharmacy or be a testing site but not both at the drive thru. I have already had the prescription changed to Walgreens. It's for my 90 yr. aunt. The rest of her prescritions will be transferred very soon. Unless you have alot of time to waste, this Drive-Thru is useless.

The pharmacy staff and the female pharmacist are rude and unprofessional. They make mistakes and get mad when they are called on it. Save yourself a headache and go to another pharmacy. This one is Ghetto!

Son signed up online for covid testing showed up yesterday they say system is down. Told him to sign back up for today he did that and now he shows up and they say...wait for it... the system is down but he should go and sign up at another cvs. This person Lindsey that I talked to immediately had an attitude and of course the store manager is on vacation. Let's see if anyone calls me back. This place is either incompetent or has a high turn over rate due to the insufficient ability to keep semi educated staff.

obnoxious wait times between when i put in my prescription and when it's finally ready. my prescription is monthly and i have to take it on the same day every month which has not happened since i started using this location. It has effected my health due to those circumstances. I switched back to Walgreens.

It was my first time at CVS (usually we go to Walgreens) and I was treated terribly. Usually I'm not one to leave reviews and if I am, it's a good one. As a mom of 3 going on 4 kids, I'm usually easy to please. Not so with this place. I picked up prescription test strips for gestational diabetes and was charged $187 for them. After calling around, I learned we had a deductible of $125 (totally understand that one, it's our insurance) but also learned from my nurse that CVS had given me the wrong test strips, (I have a Contour Next and they gave me Accu Chek), also that they gave me far too many as my nurse has only called in for a box of 100 and they gave me 2 boxes of 100. I went in to try to return the 2 unopened boxes of test strips only to be met with a ton of attitude by the lady who had spoken with my nurse. I was interrupted and she raised her voice at me, and told me I "wasn't listening". She said they wouldn't take the test strips back or return my money, and would not admit any kind of mistake on their part with giving me the wrong kind or too many. If I hadn't been so upset, I might have called upon a manager. I was in tears. $62 is a lot of money when you have little kids. I felt so cheated and hurt that I was not treated as a valued first time customer that I simply told her our family wouldn't do business with them again and left. It was sly and low for them to sell me something I couldn't use, and worse yet not to take it back (unopened!). My family will be happy to give our business to Walgreens. We have been going there for years and they haven't made a mistake once.

For almost a year this CVS served me well. For the last 6 months they don't consistently call/text about my prescriptions, the wait times are getting longer, there's a rude employee at the pharmacy, and they didn't have a medication I needed to relieve my bronchitis. I was told to wait two full days - til Tuesday at 4pm. I called Tuesday at 4 and was told it wouldn't be ready until Wednesday at 6. Without this medication it is difficult to breathe, so this was extremely frustrating. The wait time is now consistently 20 minutes, however one time they said it would be about 20 and it was 45 minutes before they got to me. One specific employee always looks and acts like she'd rather be anywhere else. I'm moving to another cvs location for my pharmaceutical needs.
