Die Hard Games is a locally owned old school gaming store described as an adventure, not just a store. It offers a huge and large selection of products including board games, role-playing games like Dungeons & Dragons and Pathfinder, tabletop miniature wargames, and card games such as Magic: The Gathering, Pokemon, Yugioh, and X-Wing. The store carries plenty of gaming supplies like tons of dice, figurines, paints, terrain, miniature carrying cases, and Pokemon sealed product and high end singles. The atmosphere is really fun, inviting, and organic with a great playing space, though it can be a little tight on space. There is a beautiful and friendly shop dog. The staff and personnel are always awesome, very friendly, and know their stuff, providing positive interactions and easily answering questions. They are always willing to work with customers on trade ins and can get products they do not have in stock. The store hosts many events including tournaments, drafts, free casual play, and weekly gaming groups for miniature combat, RPG campaigns, and tabletop wargaming. It is considered one of the better trading card shops in central Illinois. Been going here for years now. The owner is wonderful, always willing to help when asked. Pokemon, MTG, 40K, BattleTech, DnD, all types of games played here and many friendly people among each game type.

This is what an old school gaming store should be like. Huge selection of miniatures. Tons of dice. Plenty of games in an organic environment. Great playing space, too.
