About Downtown SMTD Transfer Center
The Downtown SMTD Transfer Center is a public transportation hub currently in use and still in development, with the current phase to be completed in 2025. The facility provides bathrooms, vending machines, and sheltered indoor seating to wait out of the rain, snow, or cold. It is where you can switch city buses and transfer to other services. The system is very affordable, with a single ride costing $1.25. Route information and eFares are available through the SMTD app, and Google Maps provides up-to-the-minute bus arrival details. The employees that provide this service are the best. Future plans include an enclosed bridge connecting to a new train station.

They got bathrooms and vending machines now, and somewhere where you can sit out of the rain. And when it's snowing or freezing cold outside you can sit down inside and wait.

I would give today's SMTD service 5 stars but Im hoping for more sheltered (indoor) accommodations at our new multi mode transport center.Apparently there is now, perhaps not always open?
