Dumb Records is a cool, locally-owned record shop with a great downtown location. It is a pretty badass and fun little hole-in-the-wall store with a great and very nice selection of vinyl records and turntables, featuring fair and great prices. The store has a cool small stage for live bands, making it a great place to hang out. In the back, there is an attached arcade full of pinball machines and other games. Admission to the arcade is free after a merchandise purchase, offering free play. The staff is always friendly and helpful, and seeing the store cat is always a bonus. It is a great place for anyone who appreciates music to stop and shop.

It's Dumb Records! It's the arcade and pinball and record place! If Dumb Records ever closes it will be the final death of downtown Springfield IL. Great place to take my visiting friends.

We had a blast at this record shop.! They had a good selection of different genres for cds, tapes and vinyls! They had a stickers, pins, sound equipment and a variety of stuff for sale also. In the back is a small arcade that is so cool! And dont forget to say hi to the cat, pepperoni pizza!
