My daughter has been crying ALL day because of how short Cassie, at N. Dirksen made her hair. Its definitely NOT what we showed her, or how short she showed us it would be. Do NOT recommend going here! Will definitely be calling the manager about this.

Melanie did a razor cut on my hair and it is literally the best haircut I've ever had. I'm over 50 and thinning on top and this cut brought back the appearance of body.

I usually don’t do this, but this is the 3rd time it happened and I am quite embarrassed of my haircut and I have been wearing a hat at work to hide it. I keep giving them chances since I live down the street it’s very convenient for me to go there but I’m afraid I’ll have to travel further for a new place to go. The girls were very kind and sweet every time I went and I should have spoke up several times but that’s somthing I have trouble doing, hate to make others feel bad. I would recommend training for most of those girls there and refresh their abilities because of right now Great Clips on Dirksen is a no go unfortunately. Please make Great Clips great again.

I can’t say enough good things about Great Clips on Dirksen Parkway! They always do a fantastic job, and I make sure to go to the same person every time. The consistency and quality of service are top-notch. I highly recommend this location to anyone in Springfield or even those visiting from out of town. Come on, everyone, you’ll love Great Clips as much as I do!

Fasts haircut I’ve ever had
shaved my neck all the way up the back of my head when I asked for it to be blocked

I recently experienced a loss in the family and needed a quick pick me up after neglecting my hair for a few months. (Impulse cut). My stylist I usually see had no openings and I was absolutely blown away and so happy to have met Kim! She was patient and kind with me and gave me an awesome haircut! I highly recommend her. She knows what she's doing!

Hair type: We brought my son in to cut his hair, it is thick and overgrown, he has terrible social anxiety with his autism, so he doesn't go out very often.
We were happy that he got right in and there was no wait, but the hairdresser, for whatever reason proclaimed his hair was COVERED in lice! She humiliated him, and was so rude! Also a liar! We got home and prepared for a louse standoff, NOTHING, not even a flake of dandruff, I am left to wonder what her problem is... My husband is brown, is she scared of Muslims? Does she hate teenagers? Or was his hair too long, too thick? Or having a bad day and maybe needed to go home for the rest of the day? I don't know, but I am certain of two things, 1- she intentionally made my son feel more awkward and embarrassed and the rest of his day he is going to feel that deeply. 2- I will never step foot in there again, and will share this experience with anyone who will listen!
