The past week your workers with Jeff Green leading them finished waterproofing work on my basement. Jeff was pleasant to work with and everyone was very professional. There has been no rain yet, but I am confident that my basement will now stay dry when we do get rain.

Came when they said and finished when they said. Workers were all polite and respectful. A few issues came up but when addressed, were immediately resolved. Would recommend for basement waterproofing, sump pump installation.

We used Greentree last month (mid-June 2024) to remediate an issue with standing water in our business' crawlspace. The building was constructed with a grossly inadequate crawlspace/foundation drainage system and between high groundwater and poor perimeter drainage, the crawlspace experienced standing water nearly every time it rained. We called the morning after a heavy rain and Greentree sent an estimator the same day. Withing a few hours we had a written plan, diagram, and estimate for the work that needed done, which included a new exterior crawlspace entrance, foundation perimeter drainage system, a proper sump pit, and gutter extensions. We approved the work and bid promptly. I had no need to call around or get second estimates as Greentree had remediated my parent's basement water issues in the mid-90s to their complete and continued satisfaction (hasn't has a drop of water since). Initial indications were that work couldn't start until mid-Augst due to a full schedule; however, we were thrilled that within a week the projector manager called and indicated they were going to get some of the work started in between jobs. Fast forward to last week (July 3) and they already had the project fully completed. Could not be more satisfied with the work they did, their employees and their informativeness, and the expectation that we won't have issues and that their work is backed by a lifetime transferrable warranty. While not a fun way to spend money, I do feel good about the quality of work and assurance we have that the issues are fully resolved forever.

Greentree Waterproofing installed an egress window in our basement. They took great care to limit dirt, concrete dust etc. during the installation. They also cleaned up the area better than before they arrived. All the employees working the job were friendly, polite and were hard working. The way they install the window reduces the possibility of a leak to almost nil.

I’ve been working with GREENTREE Waterproofing since 2011. They are absolutely excellent to work with for ALL of your waterproofing needs. Just had them over to address a clogged French drain around the patio and two window wells that were not draining properly. I called on Monday April 16 and John came over to Decatur later in the morning to spec it out. On Thursday Jeff and two other very professional gentlemen came over on Thursday April 19 at 8:30 am to resolve the issues. By 10:30 am everything was repaired and explained to me. The team cleaned everything up and when they left I would’ve never known they had even been here. All of this fantastic service for a very affordable price! There is nobody better than GREENTREE Waterproofing!

I was told I was foolish not to get multiple estimates for a major waterproofing project, but I wanted to work with a local business, liked the lifetime warranty and didn't want to trust foundation work to the lowest bidder. Lifetime warranties are as only good as the lifetime of the business, and Greentree has been in business for 30 years. The real test came after the work was done and the crew left. I had a little seepage after recent flooding. I sent an email at night and they called me first thing in the morning. Within 24 hours the owner was at my house to inspect, and within 72 hours corrective action was taken. They not only stand behind their work, but the level of customer service was without parallel. If you have basement problems call Greentree Waterproofing.

we were told the job would take 2 days so we assumed it was more extensive than we thought. the crew was on time, efficient, and professional. on day one 6 ports were inserted along the crack and sealant was applied, they were done in 45 minutes. on day two epoxy was injected into the ports, they were done in 15 minutes. so for the easy 1 hour job we paid $1800. Buyer Beware!

I had two handguns stolen from a cabinet under a counter in my gun room in my basement in an area of the basement Greentree's employees were not working in. This was confirmed the day after they finished their work on waterproofing a separate area of my basement. There was substantial concrete dust and dirt directly in front of the cabinet doors the guns were stolen from. I managed to get video footage of two of the employees acting in a very suspicious and uneasy manner when I arrived home during lunch one day the day prior to their work being completed. The JPD detectives are now involved. I was informed that four out of the five workers that were in my home for this job were felons and had priors that included burglary as well as other drug charges and in some cases more serious offenses. Had I known these were the kinds of employees they hire I would have absolutely hired a different company. The owner has not made any attempts to make the situation right and has not reached out to me since he was informed of the situation. As a business owner he is at fault for the actions of his employees as I am for the actions of mine. Absolutely do not allow this company to do any waterproofing work for you regardless if you are in Jacksonville or the surrounding areas. I am doctor of chiropractic and own two practices located in Jacksonville and Champaign, IL. I am not after money as my practices are both very successful. I simply want the public to know what they are in for by hiring Greentree Waterproofing.

I was so apprehensive about having such a big job done. Jeff and his team are the best. As they completed job rain but my basement stayed dry. I won't have to be peaking down the stairs and hoping I won't have to go down and tackle a job that's bigger than me anymore. Thank you Greentree waterproofing #localguides highly recommend if you fight water and are tired of it

This will be a long review that we are unfortunately having to write. Back in Oct. 2018 we had Greentree over to fix our basement wall leaking. Our house is on a hill and does have a lot of water pressure. Bill assured us that adding a French drain and I beams would fix our leaning wall and divert water pressure so our basement would be dry. We discussed how we planned on finishing the basement and he assured us this would allow us to. Jump to today. We have had to contact them every few months to patch up their work, readjust/dig the french drain, add more epoxy, the list goes on. We even had a worker flat out say the previous forman did a shotty job after wood supports for the I beams just fell from our ceiling. We now have them just saying "well, you live on a hill". We know this. But we were told this was a job you could handle. We were straight up lied to about this as TO THIS DAY our basement still leaks. New cracks began breaking off of the poorly epoxied ones that Greentree "fixed". When this was verified by the foreman, Bill said we'd have to pay to get them fixed. It made no sense because if they did their job right, this wouldn't be happening. I last emailed back in September 2021 (when work was still under "warranty") and I never received a response. I texted Bill's cell with pictures of us still having the issue and expect I will not get a response.

Did a wonderful job, clean professional and within budget compared to the other like companies. They also identified additional issues that may create problems later, provided a reasonable quote and repaired in the same time frame as the original work. The owner even came by and checked on the quality of work. I truly appreciate the work they did.

We had some issues with seepage in our finished basement so gave Bill a call at Greentree. When he came out he did a thorough inspection inside and outside the house to see if there was a simple solution. There wasn’t, so he suggested several courses of action that didn’t require any major repairs. Unfortunately those didn’t work either so he gave me what I felt was a very competitive quote and explained in detail what needed to be done. It’s been a little over a year and we have had very heavy rains since the repair work was completed. Basement has remained completely dry. I highly recommend Greentree for quality work and peace of mind of a dry basement.

I could not have been happier with Greentree. They were quick, clean and the results were even better than I expected. I would happily hire them again.
