Absolutely horrible, just horrific. Stay away!!!! Cuz I need all the stuff. Lolz seriously though guys. My ADHD was immediately noticed and welcomed. They knew me better than I knew myself and helped me find the fluffiest prettiest carpet for my front room, and I just went in to find tiles, which I also found cheap AF. New favorite store forever! Anyone saying prices are unreasonable they are nuts. 20 for a carpet that costs 150 easy and tiles a buck a piece y'all

5 stars to the ReStore staff and management for maintaining professionalism in the face of angry fellow customers. Saw a woman dealing with an aggressive customer but she maintained her ground and stayed professional even after having to call the police.

Wish I could give zero stars. Sent my son in there to get a washer they say 7 day return policy lf it stops working . First off they charge way too much for the items they get donated and they also sell items that people call to get free large item pick up from the city. Any how he pays and calls my husband to help him and pull to the part where u pick up and the guy tells them because he has a van that if they put it in there on its back then if it doesn't work when he gets it home we cant get a refund if it leaves the store. My sons say well I dont want it then cuz I have no other way to get it. The guys says no problem just go back up to the cashier and tell her you need a refund. He does that and the old rude lady says i do t think so you aren't getting your money back so he gets really upset cause hes not trying to allow them to keep almost $200 of his hard earned money. He dad says go outside son ill talk to her. He gets up there and shes still refusing so hes arguing w her n says im going outside n im gonna wait on the steps until i get my refund. He goes out there & calls the police . They come go in get the refund give it to him then start asking his name harassing both my husband and son. The police proceed to copy their plate info down and follow them away from the establishment to harass them. They pull my son over around the corner for no turn signal even tho hes recording everything and can see on his video. He gives the officer his state ID AND DRIVERS LICENSE AND THE COP ON FILMS SAYS so you don't have a valid license even though you can see in the officers hand both cards. So yeah. You couldn't pay us to return there. Also it's crazy how there are shootings 20 times a day in this city and the police are gonna spend their time harassing a couple of guys upset cause they want their money back for an item they were never in possession of.

They mostly have junk and they want high prices for what you get. Been there 4 times looking for furniture because in theory it should be great and is a good charity that I would want to support. Every time the furniture has been junk. Even I found a night stand that I considered and opened it up, smelled so bad like dirty diapers. The place smells dirty. They accept dirty furniture. Found a yard chair that was so ugly and rusty. I would have bought it for the right price because I really need a chair. Not because it was something I would have picked out. They wanted $90 for it. Ridiculous. I won't try again. It's not worth the time. I need furniture but wasting my time looking for it there. Still don't have any chairs at my house. Moved here from another state and due to space got rid of most of my furniture. That was a mistake because I still almost a year later till don't have furniture. However a good charity but not worth it.

Tried to donate a bed frame and was turned away? Kinda confused as it's not listed as a no on the website. Shop has a lot other than that. Will continue to donate when possible

I donate a lot of furniture and construction materials here. Great service! Lots of help unloading the truck and trailer. Super friendly here! The only place I donate items to. The guys in the donation dock in the back are awesome-sauce! I tell everyone if I know they are donating anything or are looking for a good deal to go to this place.

Collen is very knowledgeable and her passion really shows when she speaks about Habitat for Humanity. Sangamon County ReStore is very lucky to have such a personable and strong advocate in their corner. Highly recommend speaking with Collen to learn more about volunteer opportunities with in the Sangamon County Habitat for Humanity.
