Jack Stoldt is a reputable and fair shop to get your vehicle repaired at. This is something that is become increasingly harder and harder to find too. Today, the battery in my car died. I asked Midas for a quote and they quoted me $500 to replace the battery! Jack Stoldt did it for less than half of that - with the majority of the cost covering the battery, and just a small install charge. And they fit me in right away as a walk-in. This is my second encounter with them within the past 6 months, and I can promise you I will be going back. You should be doing the same!

Called to ask a few questions about my car and the problem it’s having. He was very rude to me. Asked him roughly how much it would be on the top of his head and he goes “well how would I know that.” Then I proceed to tell him that I took it somewhere else and didn’t care for the price and see if they would do it for cheaper. He asked me if they had the part already and I said yes, they’re holding it for me for awhile. He then goes “then why are you calling me?” As he’s laughing at me.
ABSOLUTELY HAVE ZERO CLUE HOW THEYRE STILL IN BUSINESS. SO RUDE TO ME. Didn’t get his name but I will NEVER be coming to them. Horrible customer service.

Steve was very helpful over the phone. I temporarily live in Springfield for work here and there while staying close by to Stoldt’s. Always drive by it and have heard great things! I wasn’t able to use their services yet due to unavailability but Steve still took the time to answer questions & concerns. Thank you sir. From now on any car issues I have here in Springfield, I plan on using Stoldt’s services.

Great place to have my vehicles maintained. I have been going here for over 40 years and have never been disappointed. Always has my vehicle serviced on time and is very reasonable for the quality work that they do.

Took car there to get checked out why motor was over heating they said heads was blown car needed new engine , come to find out all that needed was cooling system to be bleeded from air in system ..be careful your not being charged to be lied to when you depend and trust them with your automotive work on vehicle

My daughter was on her way to Texas from Peoria, Il when her car broke down right outside of Springfield. We made several phone calls to repair shops and were promptly told it would be up to 3 weeks before we could get service. Made a phone call to Jack Stoldt Auto center, (it is July 3rd also). They took the time to listen to me and hear what what was going on with my daughter's car. They were very prompt to tell me to bring the car in and they would do their best to get it in Even though their schedule was full and it was the day before the holiday. They called us after they diagnosed the problem, told us what they found and how much it would cost. I felt that they were very honest and to be quite Frank, if we lived closer, we would be utilizing them for all our car care.
