Since 1970, Memorial has been a teaching hospital affiliated with Southern Illinois University School of Medicine for the purpose of providing clinical training for residents. Our hospital's featured services include Memorial Heart and Vascular Services, Memorial Rehab Services, Emergency Services, Family Maternity, Regional Cancer Center, Regional Burn Center, Orthopedic Services, Memorial Behavioral Services and Memorial Transplant Services. Emergency services are available 24 hours daily. Visiting hours are from 8 a.m. - 8 p.m.
Can't say enough great things about the ER staff! My 4 year old came in with an anaphylactic reaction and the ER team were fantastic with my child, efficient with their care, and very knowledgeable and supportive. Thank you to the techs, nurses, residents, practitioners, and doctors that provided phenomenal care!

Our experience was not very good. I do not blame the staff, they were doing the best they could. I feel the management has changed and it is being run like a for profit business instead of a health care first facility.
