2 The place always smells like s*** the don't keep eye o. Their patience they let them wonder fro room to room front staff a horrible job with communication, they staff who takes care of people do ok job but you can imagine they do t make enough to really love their job ! Food is awful! They cans dust or move furniture around in the rooms I would not recommend this place

When John went to live at Mill Creek, I was greatly concerned that he would not adjust to his new environment. With the help of friendly staff and other residents, his adjustment was smooth. The activities they offer have kept John alert and vital. His behavior and outlook improved at Mill Creek. They keep the family involved and in the know -- sharing his activities each day via e-mail. The staff answers my questions and will investigate any concerns. So thankful for Mill Creek.

When it was time for my husband to move into a memory care facility, I visited all of the facilities in this area. I chose Mill Creek and have never regretted my decision. The cheerful staff has always fulfilled my requests and attended to my husband's needs. I admire their dedication and attention toward the residents. The facility is clean and the staff goes out of their way to create daily activities/events for all to enjoy.

I am a retired senior healthcare administrator with 35 years of experience. When I could no longer care for my wife at home I evaluated every healthcare home in Springfield/Sangamon County. I found Mill Creek to be the highest quality home in the area. The staff that cares for my wife are great. The food is very good. She is eating more and better than she was at home. The home is nicely decorated and clean. No odor. They have more activities than any home I have ever seen. Doubly important when treating dementia residents. This is not a skilled nursing home, but a home designed for treating dementia. The staff are specifically trained on how to care for dementia residents. Based on my extensive healthcare experience and my undying love for my girl I can highly recommend Mill Creek.

I’ve seen the care the Residents receive on a daily basis, caring and lovely and a nice clean place to have your love ones Mom or Dad or Grandpa or Grandma...Come for a visit!

My wife uncle Jack W. Is a resident at you facility. Just like to said I’m very impressed with you staff and facility. Everyone one I’ve met are very caring and always take that extra step. My opinion they truly care for the well-being of the residents. We have visited with Jack several times since he arrived. He seems very happy and likes the staff. I know his Buddy is Terry on the dietary staff. Again thank you to your staff.

As a health care administrator and family member of a resident residing at Mill Creek, I am proud to say that I can give this community a 5 star review. The staff are caring and responsive to the residents. There is always a variety of activities for the residents to participate in. The administrator is top notch. Her experience and leadership shows in every aspect of the building. I would definitely recommend Mill Creek.

I have visited this facility as a healthcare professional for several years. The building is always clean and odor free, residents are well taken care of by staff and engaged in activities. Staff are knowledgeable to the disease and appear to be very genuine to the residents and family members. . Great place in my opinion!
