Hundreds of people simply look upon the situation and silently agree: Yes. This is how we shall do this. It is magnificent. There is something almost moving about watching three or four cars patiently line up behind a pump when another lane appears momentarily shorter. These are people who, elsewhere, may disagree on virtually every question confronting mankind. Here, however, they are united by cheaper gasoline and the sacred principle that the person who arrived before you gets to go first. The directional lanes help, of course. Civilization has always benefited from arrows. And perhaps that is the true genius of the Sam's Club gas station. It asks very little of us. Present your membership card. Choose your fuel. Wait behind your fellow humans. Do not descend into barbarism. For several beautiful minutes, surrounded by concrete bollards and gasoline fumes, we succeed. Five stars. Not merely for discounted gasoline, but for providing evidence that the social contract still exists. It may be fragile. It may be dying everywhere else. But beneath the enormous Sam's Club canopy, the queue endures.”

Staff here are always professional, pharmacists are always willing to answer all of my questions and staff saved on a prescription with their knowledge of different saving programs available. Seeing the same pharmacist's and technicians stay for years tells me it is a good work environment and staff are happy with their job. I've aways been happy with this pharmacy.”
“The pharmacists and techs are efficient and very friendly. They’re more of a hometown vibe than impersonal/ corporate. Easy to request refills and schedule vaccinations online. There’s been a couple glitches over the 5+ years I’ve been using Meijer RPh but they are a TREMENDOUS improvement compared to the national chain pharmacy in Chatham I switched from. I very much appreciate their hard work.”

“They were nice, caring and compassionate. They kept me informed every step of the way when it came to my son's donation. I needed to know arrivals and departure of each destination from the time he left the hospital, until he arrived back at the funeral home. They even asked if there was anything I wanted them to say before the actual donation started. Darian was a recipient of multiple replacement heart valves. He was 25yrs old with 6 open heart surgeries under his belt. He was the true definition of a soldier. He would have been 26 yrs old on Valentine's day 2020. Twenty five years just wasn't long enough, but I guess I should be thankful I had him that long. Giving back to the gift of hope was only fitting. I will miss my sweet Valentines's baby for the rest of my life. I pray that i will see him again. I long for the day that we meet again my first love...”

“This is not an issue when it comes to prescribing. Doctors can prescribe whatever they want if your doctor is blaming the government or something like this saying it’s not allowed its prohibited they’re lying. Doesn’t mean they have to give it just they owe an explanation it may not be what the patient wants to hear but it’s better than blaming someone. Ask them nicely but be firm what could go wrong if they already don’t want to give it at least make them help you understand why. Tell them help me understand is it not appropriate or is there a specific reason it’s not allowed what is it exactly i would like to know because why exactly would it not be allowed if a patient needs it or is it not a good option I don’t understand. Unless you’re receiving controlled substances from somewhere else the doctor hasn’t been told about this prescription lookup is not a concern. All it does is let you look up if a patient is getting medication filled from someone else which is something that should be possible anyways for any medication but it’s not.”
Loblaw Companies Limited is putting serious money into its retail network this year. Canada's largest food and pharmacy retailer announced it will spend $2.4 billion in 2026 to open new stores, renovate existing locations and strengthen its supply chain. The company plans to open 70 new stores in 2026. That includes 34 Shoppers Drug Mart and Pharmaprix pharmacies and care clinics, along with 31 hard-discount No Frills and Maxi grocery stores. On top of the new openings, Loblaw will renovate another 191 stores and continue construction on a roughly 1.2 million-square-foot automated distribution center in Caledon, Ontario.
