My brother's funeral was this past Sunday, and I cannot express enough how grateful my family and I are for Ms. Ruby and her amazing staff. This was the first time we experienced a loss so close to home, and from the very beginning, Ruby guided us through every step with compassion, professionalism, and grace.
She was always available—whether by phone or text—to answer any questions we had, no matter how big or small. Her knowledge and kindness helped ease a very difficult process. She ensured my brother looked peaceful and presentable, which meant the world to us.
The facility itself was the perfect setting for his homegoing service, and the beautifully decorated recreational hall made the repass feel special and comforting for everyone who attended.
Though I pray we won’t have to plan another funeral any time soon, I now know that when the time comes, we will be in excellent hands with Ruby and her dedicated team. Thank you for everything!

my uncle was there for his passing ruby didn't remember anything that was told her to do the last day before we was to put my son to rest she came up with a mistake in fiancé and said it's was all our fault but we hired here to take care of all the paperwork she said his hair got cut didn't look like it furnel home supposed to make the process easy for the family mines was stressful

0/10 Would not recommend. My family and I recently accompanied my mother to Ruby’s funeral home for a pre-planning appointment. Unfortunately, our experience was beyond disappointing. Ruby came across as extremely dismissive and unprofessional. Given the sensitive nature of funeral planning, we expected a level of compassion and patience that was noticeably lacking. We felt rushed and uncomfortable. This experience has led us to explore other funeral homes that demonstrate more empathy and respect for families planning ahead. I wouldn’t spend a dime with her, even if she was the only funeral home in town.

Ruby and her staff are wonderful. Ruby has the utmost respect, she is very caring and makes you feel welcomed. I have dealt with Ruby and team on multiple occasions unfortunately and she has never disappointed. My grandmother at 99 was a sleeping Angel . I recommend anyone to Ruby.

We haven't even had the funeral services yet, but I have already been completely dissatisfied with Ruby's business etiquette. I've experienced nothing but unprofessionalism since we've begun this process of planning for my mother's funeral; in which we started before my mother even passed. Honestly, it has only been out of respect for what my mother has requested, that she is getting our business. I'm sure she does great work, but she should highly consider hiring someone to help her run the administrative side of the business, so she can focus on the things she does well... Which clearly is NOT: effective and efficient communication, organization, attention to detail, time management and (the BIGGEST piece) genuine empathy! I know that this is only a job for her (and I say that because this is how she has showed up for us), but when you no longer have the capacity to empathize with your grieving clients, you need to pursue another career. There is so much more I want to say, but bottom line on top, I can confidently say that I will not be using Ruby Funeral Services for any future arrangements.

On the initial visit Mrs Ruby seemed to be in a major rush. I understand this is a career for you but for me I lost a major part of my life. I also wasn’t too happy with the appearance coloration was off, he wasn’t shaved and body was leaking out fluids during the visitation. He just didn’t look like himself at all. And no disrespect intended but this is the 4th funeral service we’ve had here and no one looks themselves they always look bloated, appear to have no neck, face wider, way darker then they ever were. Her prices are very reasonable but appearance needs to improved greatly. No one wants to remember their loved ones in these ackward looking situations. Other then these 2 things that bothered me Mrs Ruby was very friendly and willing to help out how ever she could. Death is just a hard situation to deal with so if I was was the person to never complain this wouldn’t be the time I expected everything to be as close as possible to perfect. So at least I could be at ease looking at the deceased saying “looks like he’s sleeping peacefully” vs it doesn’t even look like my brother

In my time of pain & loss I genuinely came across The nicest & most sweetest soul I’ve ever met. What a pleasure to have met Ruby & her staff! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this funeral home if anyone dear to you passes. What a Blessing! Thank you.
