If I could give them a zero, I would. I bought a car from them in April. I told them it was so I could more easily get my mother to her doctors appointments. They were nice guys which is their only plus.
I checked the fluids and test drove the car. I knew there was a wheel problem but all mechanical stuff looked good. It was a warm day so I tested the AC which seemed okay.
I live out of town and I only had help one day so taking it back was not an option. I had to go to Springfield because other dealerships had raised prices so high I didn't want to take the chance of spending that much before repairs. But by the time I got it home 30 miles away and had an oil change the next day, the transmission fluid was burnt. The transmission was already bad when I bought it. My guess is that the fluid was drained and replaced so I could not tell.
Before I could get the car in to have it thoroughly looked at, the seat switch went out, and it got cooler so I turned on the heat only to discover that the driver side only blew out cold air. By the time I had the transmission replaced, the wheel bearings replaced, the seat switch fixed, and the door actuary replaced, I put in about twice what I paid for the car.
Then the window started jumping their tracks for no explainable reason and not long after the initial repairs, I went for a second opinion on the wheels and learned the part to fix it was not even available anymore which they would have known if the had done their jobs and had the car taken to a mechanic before trying to sell it. It was my understanding they had which is why I did not hesitate.
Most of the cars on the lot should have been in a junkyard somewhere, not for sale at top price to the general public.
I ended up taking a loss and trading it in spending yet more money. The dealer is a guy I know and he cut me a deal but it put my budget back yet even more.
Do not buy from here unless you plan to have a mechanic look at the car.

This man is extremely UNPROFESSIONAL!!! I was waiting to get called back on Friday & he calls me back to back AT WORK on MONDAY, telling me he’s tried several times to get me approved, so no telling how many time he’s ran my credit. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!

If I could give negative stars I would...1 week after I bought a 2017 Encore, I had to spend 490.00 to fix a relay switch. Ok..used car, I get it..within 2 weeks I was told by Buick it was going to cost over $7000 to fix everything wrong with this car. Asked for a refund, got nowhere, asked about my warranty that I purchased extra from them...got no where. Asked for them to fix the vehicle..again..got NOWHERE. I am currently filing a grievance with the States attorney. RUN FROM THIS DEALERSHIP.

Worst experience ever. Matt sold me a 2011 F150 Ford Lariat. I had starter and brakes go out the first 2 weeks. 1 1/2months later the lead frame in the transmission went out 1000 dollars. I understand that things happen but thats just crazy i called Mattto see if he would one take it back or 2 at least help he said nope u bought it as is. Since then numerous other things have been falling apart and i have Children that i have to take care of and here i am paying thousands of dollars out of pocket for a vehicle that should have been exciting and fun experience and it's costing me nothing but problems and time and money missing work over it but he won't help me so people do not buy anything off of him if you do don't get the as is deal Cause no matter how bad it is he sticks to that

Matt at Springfield Select Autos is awesome! I can't imagine buying a vehicle from another dealer. He helped get financing and even delivered the vehicle to me! Excellent customer service without the pushy dealer attitude. Highly recommended!
