Westminster Cooperative Preschool is a play-based, non-religious, community-minded preschool. The play-based curriculum is fun for parents and children, providing a perfect balance of structure and freedom. Children learn structure of circle time with the freedom of play, with dramatic center, science center, and art changing each month to keep things fresh and exciting. The program provides an excellent opportunity for kids to learn by exploring their environment and work on social and emotional education. Teachers are warm, supportive, kind, and gentle in correction to help children navigate conflict and big feelings. The cooperative nature allows families to make close connections with other likeminded parents and lasting friends. The facilities are designed with children in mind, creating a wonderful and welcoming setting for a diverse group of families. The administrative and teaching staff are top-notch. This preschool is the best in the area.

WCP is truly the best option for a play-based, non-religious, community-minded preschool. We love the opportunities for parents to be involved in the classroom, the space for creativity and child-led learning, and the inclusive and diverse environment of the school.

Absolutely lovely place for families with young learners. We love the play-centered program and the opportunities to be involved in the classroom. Fantastic community of people. Happy to have a place for our kids to make lasting friends and for us to make friends with likeminded parents.
