Ace Hardware in St. Charles really is the place with helpful hardware people! And they are all so friendly and knowledgeable. It’s also my go to place for keys made correctly (I never have success with those machines that supposedly cut keys for you), glass cut, and screen repairs. Each Ace has its own specialty items it sells, and this Ace has exceptional items I can’t find anywhere else. I’m also talking about the “impulse” aisle you go through just to get to the registers that has lots of items you didn’t even know they made or needed! Haha. I always find something here that wasn’t even why I came here in the 1st place! But I really like that, and the chit chats with the staff. Highly recommend a trip here when you need help or an odd item, because if you can’t find it, the staff will recommend an alternative for your project. Kudos!

Went into the store yesterday and was told by the manager that he was busy and he did not have time to make a car key. He said come back today and he would make a key anytime. There were No customers in the store at the time.Went to the store today at the key counter and was told to wait 10 minutes.And that the manager would be there to make the key.He never showed up. We were loyal customers shopping at their store for the last 20 years.I will never go back there again.

I have been a loyal customer for 20 years. Have always had help when I asked and the staff were always friendly. My husband went in there yesterday to get a key cut. He was told to come back today because the guy was too busy. There were no customers in the store. He went back today and was told to wait 10 minutes. The guy never came. What had happened to the Ace Hardware I have known all these years that used to have great customer service??!!

We were 25 miles from our shop and needed some cut off wheels to finish our project. Went on Google to find the Ace hardware store was less than 3 miles away. As soon as I walked in the door I was greeted with good morning and what could we help you find. Thanks to the staff I was in and out in minutes with my cut off wheels and a delicious bag of fresh popcorn. Thank you
