Aly & Carrie N. Who were running the bistro during my stay were absolutely FANTASTIC! I travel a lot and I never hang out at any of the courtyard or Fairfield Bistro/Bars. They made my two-day stay amazing. Friendliest and top notch service! Smiled constantly and very conversational. These women deserve a raise! Everyone they served seemed to enjoy them and their high level customer service as much as I did! Amazing job ladies!

The hotel is nice and clean with a good breakfast.
I had a room incident that could've been handled better, and the are going thru construction right now so the pool is closed.

If I could give zero stars I would. This Marriott property has terrible customer service. My flight to Chicago to attend a wedding was cancelled so I called to cancel my hotel for the next day. The hotel was definitely not understanding of the situation and still charged me for the stay. The Director of Sales emailed and said I did not cancel within the 48 hour window. I responded that it wasn’t my choice, my flight was cancelled and could not make it. Never got a response.

The young lady at the front desk was really helpful with getting my wifi setup on my laptop so I can finish my important meeting. Thank you so much Katherine for the amazing help!

Clean hotel, kept up quite well. No complaints. The only microwave is downstairs. Wish it had one in the room

I have stayed here numerous of times. I attempted to make a reservation today. Hotel.com and booking.com showed one price. The Marriott Bonvoy app showed a price $10.00 more. The hotel transferred me to central reservations which quoted me $10.00 more than Bonvoy and $20.00 more than 3rd parties. The rep did not know as to why. I called the hotel and was told they do not handle reservations. I explained the situation and was interrupted and told I was being snotty. If I want the room pay the price.
I only want to understand the discrepancy of pricing. After the treatment and rudness of this representative I do not want to stay at this hotel.

The room was ghastly hot and the air conditioning was not sufficient to keep up. I requested housekeeping when we left for the day, watched the manager put it in the computer and it never happened. No charging ports, breakfast was meh but coffee was good. It’s pretty dated. It was pretty clean and staff were nice. The shower was very nice and handicapped friendly. The landline didn’t work and we couldn’t call the front desk. TV was very limited. We will not likely stay again.

Definitely not what I'd expect from a marriott property especially paying over $250 for this room.

I wouldn’t recommend this property. Besides the photos, the smell was atrocious. Smelled like mildew and mold in the room. I didn’t complain for various reason. However never again.

This hotel is great value for money and in a good location. The staff are super friendly and helpful. The room was clean and the bed was SO comfortable. I gave 3 stars for the room as the bathroom was a little worn and needed updating. The chrome and door frame were a little rusted and the bath tub was very narrow, it was hard to keep my balance while taking a shower. I would stay again if we return to the area.

We had a disappointing experience. We originally booked a king suite at a different nearby hotel (under the same management as this Fairfield Inn), but were contacted by the GM and told our room was unavailable due to air-conditioning issues. He arranged for us to stay at this Fairfield Inn in an executive king room with a pullout sofa, to accommodate me, my husband and our three kids.
We were driving through Chicago on our way home from a vacation, so we just needed a room for one night on our way. It wasn’t imperative that we stayed in this town however it was one of the few hotels that was available in the Chicago area that night.
I confirmed over the phone multiple times that this room setup would work for five people. An hour before arrival, The Fairfield Inn employee called to get my payment information, I again confirmwd that we would have the king suite, and that if it ended up not being available, we would continue driving on our road trip until we found a suitable room somewhere else. He assured me it was available, but he wasn’t sure if there was a sofa bed in there or not. So I called the original hotel back and talked to an employee there who called and spoke to the Fairfield Inn while I waited on hold and then told me that we were guaranteed the king suite with a sofa bed and that she was sorry that the Fairfield and employee was unaware of what their rooms were like. She was very nice and the only person who actually helped us a little bit on this evening even though she didn’t work in the hotel we were even staying in.
Lo and behold, when we checked in, we were given a standard double room—no king bed, no pullout sofa. We were not informed of the change during any of the calls, nor when we checked in. We found out when we walked into the room. The employee at the front desk that night seemed confused about everything that we asked him about. I called the previous hotel and spoke with an employee who said that she heard the GM promise us the executive king suite and that he would “make this right” when he returned to work and that she would text him about this right away. The employee who was on duty at the Fairfield on Saturday morning was kind and apologetic, but said she was unable to do anything for this. We paid for what we thought was a king size room.
Neither hotel had any other rooms available. When we asked for a rollaway bed, we were told none were available, but that they would provide sheets for us to make up a bed on the floor. We had no choice but to stay, as it was late and other hotels were full. My husband had to sleep on the floor.
The room itself was fine, a little worn down and the breakfast was mediocre. We left early and tired. This experience has unfortunately soured our view of this hotel chain, and we won’t be booking with them again, But I will be contacting them to let them know about the situation. As we have not heard from the at all GM, after what has been four days since our stay to “make this right,” which in my mind should have been at least a partial refund since we paid for a suite and received a double room.

This hotel is the worst Marriott I have ever stayed at. It was so dirty. Really gross. Everything from the toilet to the carpet to the duvet. All the the walls have smears on them of bodily fluids, old food etc. The AC unit was filled with mold. Huge chunks growing on vents. I had to use the makeup remover cloth to clean them out. It's been a problem for a long time because the curtain above the AC was covered in mold as well. My colleague got a headache from the mold which cleared up as soon as we left the hotel. Curtains were ripped, stained etc, walls had patches. The lobby was so hot, no AC, so we couldn't work there. The elevator inspection was also expired so they take safety as seriously as cleanliness. Marriott should be ashamed to associate this hotel with its brand.
