Have been going to Gill’s for my automotive repairs for little over a year now with 2 different vehicles and have had great experiences every time. They’re quick, honest and respectful. The owner will even check in after repairs to make sure everything is in proper working order.
I’ve sent 2 others here and they share similar experiences to mine. Would definitely recommend Gill’s for your automotive needs.

DON'T TRUST THIS GARAGE! Damaged coolant lines during a brake job and wouldn't take ownership of the error. Told about damage from oil change tech at a different garage. Car is now not driveable after paying $1500.00 for brake job. Terrible business practices!!

I rarely write reviews but this time I will make an exception. After my move to Saint Charles, I had my Pathfinder taken care of in Hawk Nissan dealership. I was not overwhelmed by the service but it felt like a reasonable choice to me to be with authorized dealer. Until I asked this authorized dealer service to change a bulb in the dome light inside my car. I thought that was a simple task that anybody could do but chose to ask the dealer to replace the light bulb for me during my regular oil change. When I picked up my car, the light was on but I soon found out that it would not turn off. OK, I thought that as annoying as this is, they probably just pinched a switch or something in the light and it will be an easy fix, just hassle with the extra trip to the service. I brought the car back and was told that they took care of it. Great. I opened and closed the door and the light turned on and off as expected. Also great. Then my daughter wanted to turn the light on and found out it only works when the door opens but not when you press the ON switch. Not so great - had to explain to her that it is not OK to keep the door open during ride so she can read. I brought the car back to the service with increasing annoyance and after they looked at it again, I was told that the light was broken when I first brought the car in (this was a new information to me!) and they cannot fix it but can order a new assembly for the light (for 100-something $ with work). Yeh, right. After some looking, I found Gill's Automotive. They scheduled me within couple of days (probably more my schedule than theirs was responsible for any wait) for oil and break change. When he called me that the car is ready to pick up, I asked Adam - as an afterthought - if he could check the light for me. He said sure and had it fixed in about 10 minutes, no need for new parts. Turns on and off. Whenever I want! I know it is just a light. But what if breaks are also not something Nissan can fix at first try (or second)? I guess I found my small shop where I feel people actually understand what they are doing. Thank you, Adam, you made me your new customer.Services: Brakes

Small shop well maintained. My service technician (Steve ) was extremely polite and informative answering all my questions. My appointment was 3;30pm ,when I got there a bay already available.Until recently I have been taking my car to a name brand repair shop but never really felt like it was a good experience. I've been driving by Gil's for years and decided to take my car in to check my air-conditioning. I'll most definitely return.
