Great hobby shop. Little bit of everything. We go for the rc cars and track. Not many tracks left around and we are lucky to have one that is ran so well.

I normally wait until I get home to write a review but here I am writing it in the parking lot because I just couldn’t wait to gush about the amazing customer service here! Jeremy, thank you! Jeremy identified the issue I had, provided insight and recommended a course of action. He even went so far as to offer to quickly put together the solution and didn’t even charge for it! Thank you so much, I will absolutely be back at some point to buy that corvette RC body you have so that I can complete the collection I have from full size to model! 😁

Wanted to get into RC. Was let down the lack of knowledge and enthusiasm by the them. Wanted to keep my dollars local. Probably the worst enthusiast store I’ve been in. I’ll just stick to AI and online shopping. I’ll just eat the cost of the wrong item they sold me. It’s too bad. They had good stock and a clean store.

I went in the store for the first time. Walked by 2 employees they never greeted me. Another
Employee said hello. I looked around for 5 minutes and left. Not one of the three employees asked me if they could help me find anything.

The racing program is what drew us to the store, and after racing for a while we realized how fortunate we were to have this place here in Batavia. People drive from hours away, and now we understand why. RC racing can be a bit intimidating for newbies but the HobbyTown staff has fostered a community thats welcoming and super helpful. The program is one of the most organized and smoothest running around, which makes makes it possible with our busy family schedule. The staff is extremely knowledgeable with parts, repairs, and setup advice—something you just can’t get by shopping online. Beyond racing, the store also offers endless other hobby and activity options for non-racers. Less scrolling, more doing!

Everything is a little bit more expensive, but it’s definitely worth it because they have almost every product and every product they sell works extremely well, LOVE the products. The owner Jeremy is extremely helpful and friendly, and the staff is quite knowledgeable. It’s a shame they had to change the rules on the tracks due to people mistreating it but, it’s my go to place for a track.

Walked in looking for a battery for an airsoft gun I had purchased from Evike - GR25 form G&G. Old model. Required a large Tamiya battery which he didn’t have. However, after thoughtful discussion, he offered to solder a new connector to the LiPo and explained how to change the connector on the GR25 & explained what tools I’d need. Great customer service! Definitely will return.

My wallet hates this place, my mental health loves this place, and all the options I've bought here from gundams to car model kits to spray paint to military vehicles and Legos yeahhh this is the best spot for a healthy hobby.

What a joke of a hobby store. I used to come to hobby town all the time when I was younger but this palce can hardly call itself a hobby store now. Not a single nitro model for sale. What a joke. I will not be back here. Thankfully I live much closer to a hobby store that actually respects the history of RC cars and sells nitro vehicles.

Terrible business bought a rc car for almost $1000 dollars only to be told about a major design flaw after I paid for it. After it broke I went back in to buy the $150 upgrade and paid them to install it. The screws were over tightened and broke the new part instantly. Went back today they told me they cannot help and sent me on my way! Terrible customer service absolutely dont buy from here!
