Illegal puppy mill! They are operating illegally per the new illinois law which bans the sale of dogs and cats in a store. These dogs are not from registered breeders, they are transported from puppy mills. These mills over-produce. They use and abuse female dogs to continually impregnate them so they produce as many money making puppies as possible. This is not humane. Look at all the pictures of the dogs in the reviews. Not one of them looks happy. These puppies are stripped away from their moms and endure a long, terrible journey across country as they are shipped around like a piece of freight. Please do not give money to these people. We as a society need to put them out of business. Shelters and rescues are overflowing. They have all different breeds and ages available. Some will even provide shots and fix them. Looking for a specific breed? Just google the breed followed by the word rescue. I guarantee you will find what you are looking for. PLEASE adopt don't shop.

Love this place. We purchased two of the happiest, healthiest pups we’ve ever had from The Perfect Pup. The owners and staff are knowledgeable, reputable, and animal loving. Our Sheepies come back here for monthly grooming. We highly recommend finding your next family member from this place. ??

Extremely happy with my grooming experience with Katie! Have brought my little dog Kasia to her twice now and been very impressed. Not only is she a talented groomer, she is very patient and demonstrates emotional intelligence working with nervous furry clients. Thanks Katie, see you soon!

This place is horrible they get all the puppies from puppy mills the owner and his mom are scammers we purchased a puppy from them a few years back they sent us to a vent they are contracted with and it was like a back room kind of place .. they charged my wife 1600 bucks for a puppy that was sick and we had to spend another 1200 on vet bills. The puppy is fine now but I was told well you can return or exchange it .. who does that after your kids get attached ..

Do NOT buy a puppy from this organization. They have pending violations from the Department of Ag. They sell puppy mill dogs. I have been here and seen the unsafe conditions of the puppies.

Absolutely love this place! We got out Moxie from here 7 years ago. Today, I took her back for a spa day. They are so good with her. Despite her being so matted and dirty, they did a wonderful job with her. They are very reasonably priced.

We got our pups from here and now they are no longer pups, but whenever we have to board both of our Huskies.... Perfect Pups is the only place. Chris and Christine are both amazing and we feel confident knowing that they take really good care of our kids.

We came in looking for a specific puppy and found the exact one that we were looking for. She is beautiful! We could see right away that everyone there cared for the puppies, and wanted us to be happy with our purchase. This is a wonderful family owned business.

Disappointing. They don’t care about your puppy’s health.I was referred here by a good friend who mom who got her puppy here.It a small place with a few puppies.I found a puppy that was so adorable but has “a cold”(just mainly coughing) and was on antibiotics.I fell in love with him and purchased him anyways. Thinking it would be fine, colds are minor and will resolve.I also knew about their policy that I may have him evaluated by another vet in 72 hours from purchase date to make sure he’s healthy. So I did go for a puppy wellness check and told the vet he had a cough. The exam went fine, he’s normal/healthy.I tried to be patient and waited for the cough to resolve. But now it’s 2 months later and my puppy still coughs(mainly when he wakes up in the morning/sleep and naps.)I was concerned of his persistent cough so called the pet store asking if I should take him to the vet to evaluate the cough since at the wellness check did not specifically evaluate the cough because I told them him he had a cold. She said I could have him check out if I wanted. Then I asked may I be reimbursed for it and was told no because it’s not within 72 hours from purchase date. BUT WHY WOULD THE VET EVALUATE A COUGH IF WASTOLD IT WAS A COLD AT TIME OF WELLNESS CHECK?This situation is disappointing. The amount of money paid for this puppy and willing to buy a puppy with a cold/cough that the expenses should be completely taken care of by them/pet store until cough resolves.

We bought our pup, Marley OneLove under the guise that he was a hybrid puppy...specifically a CavaTzu. He was supposed to be a very laid back lap dog of about 15 lbs full grown. We made the decision to buy a hybrid because we wanted very specific traits and the CavaTzu checked all the boxes. Well Marley is now fully grown and is almost 30lbs! He has always been a very high strung dog, a nipper and full of energy. :-( At 62 years old, this was not an ideal situation for us. At our Vet's advice, we had a DNA test done and found out our "hybrid pup" was actually a "mutt" LOL Four different breeds, one of which was cocker spaniel which explained the size and temperment. I now warn everyone we talk to about The Perfect Pup and advise everyone, regardless of where they are looking to purchase a pup, to either purchase AKC registered dogs or have the facility produce a DNA for the "hybrid" pup. The fact is, we love Marley of course, but had we decided on a fully mixed breed dog, we would definitely had sought out a shelter dog.
