Terrible experience. Owners can't handle basic questions about their training abilities, and refuse to accept responsibility. Daniela is not an experienced trainer and took my $$ anyway. When I questioned the situation, she blocked me. So glad I left. Bad news.

I went to the gym from August 2023 - January 2023, I moved to Texas, and honestly, not a day goes by that I don’t miss it. The community at The Basement Gym is welcoming, friendly, and always willing to help out.
I did have a small membership cancellation hiccup but the staff called me to verify who was working when I cancelled and followed up to make sure the issue was taken care of with no prompting from my side.
The equipment is in excellent condition, there were only 2-3 pieces of equipment broken or not usable during my 4 months of membership.
They have a barbershop in the gym which is a nice touch.
The gym, shower, and locker room were kept clean and were always in pristine condition.
The owner of the gym was always there and is very friendly.
This gym genuinely sets the bar high for what a gym should be and other gyms should strive to meet the same standards. I compare every gym I go to with The Basement Gym and I haven’t found anything that comes close.
If you’re looking for a place to feel motivated, a place where you are surrounded by positivity, a place where you can be serious about getting in shape and staying that way, this is the gym for you.
My only complaint is almost a compliment - the most busy time of day when I went was 6am -8am, even on a weekend, it felt like people were almost too motivated sometimes LOL.

This place is so simple I struggle to believe it. Basic monthly fee. No annual fee. Cancel whenever. Skip a month whenever. The epitome of K.I.S.S. Nice people. I've never felt judged (I'm about a hundred pounds overweight). Tons of equipment. I have yet to wait for a machine. I go in the mornings. Love this place.

Absolute 5/5 star rating for sure. Equipment is wonderful, the staff is great, everything is clean, and it’s hardly ever crowded (at least when I go). This is a gym made for people who are serious about working out and love fitness! I just joined 2 weeks ago and every time I go in I feel like a kid in a candy store. I also love that it is a small business. If you are looking for a gym to train yourself in, look no further!!

Best gym I’ve been to. Recently switched to this gym coming from xsport with a couple of friends because we were needing more bodybuilding equipment rather than commercial equipment. That being said it was definitely the best decision. Staff and even just other people are so friendly, it’s like it’s own community and definitely is a very welcoming place. If you’re serious about lifting this is the perfect gym, they offer everything you need for a great lift. They even have chalk boards that show PR’s which is great if you love a little bit of competition. My only complaint would be I wish they had longer hours of operations on the weekend but besides that it is definitely the best gym around here!

Great enviornment, they have all the equipment you need. I only wish they would be 24/7 due to me showing up and the gym not being open when hours of operation say it should be open.

if you wanna be talked crap about by the owner then it's the perfect gym for you! been there for 2 years and one of the owners started and spread a rumor about me that isn't true. she was spreading it AT WORK to her clients. and when confronted, she felt that she was justified. this is how they treat their loyal customers. also a membership is like $60 so it's totally not worth it. i cancelled right then and there.

I like this gym because it's clean environment, friendly staffs especially the manager is very thoughtful, the equipment are full range covering all I need and I got to take some of their classes in a low fee. Highly recommended.
