I went during a chaotic time when lots of families were there, so the energy of the store was high! Yet the whole staff working were unphased by the chaos of kids running around having fun. I asked the HobbyTown associate if he had any experience with this and if he had any recommendations for what I wanted to build. He did, and he shared a lot of great information and tips about the approach, building process, and techniques. He was friendly and very helpful. “Tons of sugar everywhere! So much candy from all over the world! Sodas, small quirky toys, gifts, good variety of everything you could ever want when you were 8-17, and then again at 30 and up while being nostalgic. Of course you probably know you are going to pay for that nostalgia, the prices are sometimes almost double what you can find the same things for if you just look around. But it's a lot of fun to see it all I'm one place.”
