I tried to support my local Walgreens. But I couldn’t- no matter how hard I tried. They Never have my auto refill prescription available. I drove 40 miles to pick up at a different Walgreens last month. Once again- I have to come back several times - days later to pick up a common drug.
Walgrreeens on 64 & Peck in St Charles has been absolutely incompetent in filling my prescriptions.
I can’t imagine how they can remain in business. They simply can’t offer pharmacy services.

I called to refill a prescription on Monday for a Tuesday pickup. On Friday I get a call asking if I'm going to pick up my medication because at the end of they day they're going to put it back since it's been 10 days. I said what do you mean, I just requested a refill on Monday? They responded no, it was filled 10 days ago. (I didn't get a call or text about it either, would have been nice to know).
Anyways I say I can't get it Friday can I get it Saturday? They said yes. On Saturday I couldn't pick it up and I called to ask them to hold it until Sunday. They said it's fine, they're not scheduled to put it back until Monday. I said I just got a call Friday saying it was 10 days but they weren't sure why I got a call. Weird...
Today, Sunday I show up to get my prescription. They said it's not ready yet, they're working on it. I asked the obvious questions... it was filled 10 days ago, why isn't it ready? They said they would hold it for me, etc.
So I'm in the parking lot waiting 10-15 minutes to get my meds as I write this review. This is just one example of the ineptitude of Walgreens. I should have written a review eons ago.
Anywho, I think it's time to drive to a further pharmacy to reward somebody more deserving with my business.

I had a problem with a pharmacy tech processing
my script wrong, & when I made it know another
pharmacy tech tried to correct it, but he failed, too.
This should have never been a problem. It was a
simple Rx request with all the info in place.
Finally, after being on hold for more than 30
minutes, I was able to talk to MARIE the staff
pharmacist who immediately acknowledged
the mistakes caused by her service techs, &
corrected my Rx for future refills. Unfortunately,
MARIE the pharmacist has to work with her
compromised staff that her difficult job much harder. This seems to be the Walgreens norm.

So thankful for the staff and Joe the manager at this store! I left 3 of my credit cards at the photo checkout and realized they were missing almost 5 days later. In retracing my steps, I called the store and after some questioning discovered they did in fact have them in their safe keeping. So grateful for the honest and kind staff that work there.

If I could give this pharmacy zero stars I would unfortunately not an option I have been going to this pharmacy 20 years this review is not directed at the 2 original gals that have been their throughout the years I'm sure their just biding their time for retirement. Not only is the second drive thru broken off and on off, your on hold forever my Doc increased one of my meds 3 days ago I was supposed to start taking the increased today for the last 3 days I was told it will be in by 2 pm called yesterday waited forever on hold the tech was rude said it may be in tomorrow it might not be in there central warehouse processing is a joke we as consumers pay up the Yang Yang for our meds and being treated this way is a travesty I pray this doesn't happens to a customer that needs something like a heart med then they will get sued!

Oh boy, I have a love/hate relationship with Walgreens in general, but sadly it's because of this location I decided to transfer my medications elsewhere. I had been a customer of this particular location from 2020-2023, but there was only so much I could take for my health and well being. This location has consistently: Delayed my needed medication due to being out of stock, been rude when I have called to inquire about my medicine, or completely cancelled because of "supply issues". If they were going to cancel it, the least they could have done was inform me so I could get my needed medicine elsewhere. I just find it unacceptable the level of "customer service" I have received as a long time customer. In the past 6 months since switching, I haven't had an issue with my new pharmacy once.

This pharmacy is a joke. I have never waited so long to pick up a prescription. They have two lines and neither moves. Lines wrap around the building on a regular basis.

This west side Walgreens is consistently the slowest pharmacy I have ever dealt with. They consistently partial fill a prescription ordered every 90 days but can never seem to fully fill it causing extra trips back. Good luck getting someone to come to the drive-thru window or inside counter in a timely manner.

I'm a prescriber. Needed to call a preacher a patient who was in pain. After waiting on phone for 31 minutes!!!! No one answered my call. This pharmacy staff are inhuman, irresponsible and incompetent to say the least.

Ordered medicine I was told would be delivered within a couple hours. Next day 2pm and still no delivery. Since I had a doctors appointment nearby, I decided to go and pick them up myself. The pharmacy tech gave me attitude because they're ready to be picked up by a courier! I said "Yes. That was the plan but NO ONE has delivered them! They were supposed to be delivered last night. Can I just pick them up myself now?" She was upset she had to cancel the delivery order. Made me feel like it was MY FAULT that they didn't deliver it?!? What is going on? How about you deliver things when you say they will be delivered and I won't have to go do their job? Everyone there is ALWAYS MAD AND GRUMPY! Does anyone know how to smile anymore? Very disappointed that their service continues to be so bad. May have to switch to another pharmacy.

Pharmacy drive thru is absolutely horrible!!! The incompetence is baffling!! They text, email and call that things are ready only to sit and wait in the drive thru because nothing is ready!!
