Yup this just happened. If I could, I would give this place a triple negative. Ok, I have never wrote a review but this is a must. This dry cleaner eyeballs your clothes and if they LOOK clean, all they do is spritz and press!! Avoid them at all costs, there are plenty of good dry cleaners around. If you simply can't drive another block down and have to use this location, be very careful. Look carefully and SMELL your clothes when you get them back BEFORE paying. This is the third time this dry cleaner charged me for dry cleaning and didn't dry clean the clothes!! The first time, ok, I didn't think too much about it and they re-did it. It was a brand new dress that I had never wore, she altered it and said they would dry clean it. When I came back to they it on and take it home there was a white mark clear across the front that wasn't there before. Did they alter it after they cleaned it? But what ever, Ok, since I had paid they would re-clean it. The second time, you know that one sweatshirt that is sooo soft inside? You have to dry clean it to maintain that ultra softness, if you wash it, the softness goes away and the soft fuzz on the inside balls up. When I picked it up, not only did it still have the spots on it, it was balled up on the soft inside. I asked her if they dry cleaned it or washed it. She looked at the charge amount and said "oh we dry cleaned it". Ummm, ok...again. The third and final time, I dropped off seven shirts (including mine and my husbands). When they were ready, I picked them up, paid for them and left. I was hanging them up when I smelled them, the BO stink was still very present!!! EW!! Totally unwearable. I brought them back and asked for a re-fund. If you get a cockroach on your pizza, you dont ask them to re-make it. I was done. No, she replied, "i didn't know we were looking for smell, we only were looking for spots and ironing"....really??? Does she really think I haven't ever gone to a dry cleaner?? This asking for a refund ridiculously escalated to the point that I called to make a police report, yup this just happened over dry cleaning, can you believe it? I thought it was ridiculous, but then the officer said they have had many complaints about this. This business clearly is fraudulent and charges customers for dry cleaning when they just press them...when the clothes LOOK clean, they dont actually clean them!!! Unfortunately, they cannot do anything about it but take a report. It is a buyer beware type of service. OK, SO BUYER BEWARE!!! Avoid these cheapskate cheaters at all costs.
