Jim Siegfried is the most helpful insurance person I've ever met. We've been dealing with him for a few years now. He couldn't be nicer. He is very knowledgeable and caring. I've recommended him to several others. You should give him a call.

You would think that after being a long-time customer, the treatment would only get better. Not the case here. Like I reported the good 8 years ago, I am reporting the bad. I should have 4 years ago. However, I thought the agent Sopko and Cindy would do right by my now 90-year-old mother, but that has yet to happen, and it doesn't seem it will. As I first wrote, I found and set up my mom's homeowners policy with Farmers and kept in touch with questions over the years. Then, prices started skyrocketing after 4 years or so. Policy costs had stopped being even close to reasonable. It was always the same excuse, building materials are up. Later, it took a turn for the worse, Sopko and Cindy took advantage of my mom and did not explain how a claim works and its implications. Causing massive unnecessary increases in her policy, when all they had to do was explain to her how claims worked. However, both deny it was their responsibility to do so. Really? Same claim 3x in less than 2 years. Pretty obvious my mom didn't understand how it works and they decided not to educate her. However, insurance is what they do for a living. Once I got wind of what was going on, Sopko said he didn't have to talk to me because it was my mom's policy. Somehow, that rule didn't apply when I set up the policy for her with them. As I said, it changed. Taking advantage of the elderly is what I call it. So much so that my mom is shackled to this horrible agent until those claims, which were never paid out, 3 for the same roof damage, fall off. I'm sorry, I trusted them. Even more sorry for my mom that she has to stay with them for a while as they continue to gouge her. As for Cindy, this time, she didn't know what to say, but I got a sense that even she knows that she and Jeff are both culpable. To all, especially senior citizens, watch out for this agent and watch your policy like a hawk!
